Safety Warnings and Precautions WARNING: When using product, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using this product!
1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Check for damaged parts. Before using any product, any part that appears damaged should
be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for any broken or damaged parts and any other conditions that may affect its operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
3. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
Use of any other parts will void the warranty.
4. Always check hardware and assembled parts after assembling. All connections should be
tight and hardware tightened.
5. Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the use area. Do not let them handle
fuel, matches or tools. Children must never play with the Tiki Torch.
6. Store idle equipment. When not in use always lock up the Tiki Torch and keep it out of the
reach of children.
7. Dress properly. W ear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair.
8. Use eye protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles when using this
product.
9. Maintain products with care. Keep the Tiki Torch in a dry location free of debris and away
from any flammable liquids and materials.

10. Use the right Tiki Torch for the job. There are certain applications for which this Tiki Torch
was designed. Do not modify this product and do not use this Tiki Torch for a purpose for which it was not intended.
11. Avoid using alone . If an accident happens, an assistant can bring help.
12. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Do not reach over or
across the Tiki Torch. Be aware that par ts of the Tiki Torch will become very hot during operation, and for a period of time after use.
CAUTIONS FOR OPERATING
1. The Tiki Torch is designed for outdoor use only. Do not use this product in a trailer,
tent, house, garage, or any enclosed area because carbon monoxide may accumulate; carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless gas that when inhaled may cause serious injury or death.
2. Always use the Tiki Torch in an open area away from buildings, dry leaves or brush.
Be aware of wind blown sparks.
3. Avoid high pedestrian traffic areas. Do not allow people or pets to conduct any activity
near the Tiki Torch while the unit is in use, or following its use. The Tiki Torch Fuel Can is hot during use, and will remain hot for a period of time after use.
4. Use only the appropriate Citronella or lantern oil. Never use gasoline, kerosene, or other
highly volatile fluids as a starter or as fuel, as they can explode.
5. Make certain all parts of the Tiki Torch are firmly in place and that the Tiki Torch is
positioned on a flat, level, fire retarding surface.
6. Never leave the Tiki Torch unattended while lit.
7. Do not clean the Tiki Torch with cleaners that are combustible or corrosive.
8. Make certain that the Fuel Can is disconnected from the unit when the Tiki Torch is
not in use.
9. Never smoke while attempting to light the Tiki Torch. Make sure all surrounding flames
are extinguished.
10. Do not use or store any flammable liquid or material in the area surrounding the Tiki
Torch.
Assembly
Your Tiki Torch will require some simple assembly as described in the following steps. To assist you with assembly and operation please refer to the Operational Figures as well as the Assembly Diagram and Parts List located on the last pages of this manual.
1. Attach Pole (4a) to Pole (4b). Insert Stake (5) onto bottom Pole (4b).

2. Insert the top Pole (4a) into the opening/inlet at the bottom of the Wire Basket (3), at the
bottom end of the “V” shape-see Figure 1.

3. Slide the Sleeve (2) into the Fence (3).
4. Slide the Fuel Can (1) into the Sleeve (2). Follow directions for using the Tiki Torch in the
Operation section of the manual located below.
Operation
Using the Tiki Torch
1. Make certain that the Tiki Torch has been properly assembled as in steps 1 through 4, and
that all the fittings are secure.
2. Insert the Stake (5) end of the Tiki Torch into the ground at a sufficient depth to assure
that the Tiki Torch will not move in wind or if accidentally bumped. The surface which receives the Stake (5) end of the Tiki Torch must be clear of debris. The surface must be flat, stable, fire retardant, and must be able to support the weight of the Tiki Torch.
3. Remove the Fuel Can (1) from inside of the Sleeve (2). Unscrew the lid from the Fuel
Can (1). Unscrew the cap from the lid-see Figure 2.
4. Move the wick so that about 1/4 “ extends beyond the rim of the Fuel Can lid. Make certain
that a significant portion of the wick remains below the lid to fit inside of the Fuel Can (1)-see Figure 2.
5. Fill the Fuel Can (1) with the appropriate Citronella or lantern oil. Screw the lid back onto the
Fuel Can.
6. Slide the Fuel Can (1) into the Sleeve (2). Light the exposed end of the wick.
7. When finished using the Tiki Torch, extinguish the flame with the use of the Cap. When
applying the Cap, keep fingers and hands clear of the flame. Never extinguish the flame with your hands or fingers.
8. Store the Tiki Torch in a safe location free of flammable material. Keep out of the reach of
children.
