Read all instructions before using this product!
1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Check for damaged parts. Before using any product, any part that appears damaged should
be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for any broken or damaged parts and any other conditions that may affect its operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
3. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
Use of any other parts will void the warranty.
4. Always check hardware and assembled parts after assembling. All connections should be
tight and hardware tightened.

to stand upon or climb on the Porch Swing. Children sitting on the Porch Swing must never be left unattended.

Swing. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair.

this product.
8. Maintain products with care. Keep the Porch Swing in a dry location. Excessive moisture
may corrode the hooks and chain. Always check the hooks and chain prior to using.
9. There are certain applications for which this Porch Swing was designed. Do not modify
this Porch Swing and do not use this Porch Swing for a purpose for which it was not intended.

Read warning labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgement or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not assemble or use the Porch Swing.

Rest (8) into the space between the Chain Hooks (11) as in Figure 1. Line up the holes and insert Screw (1) with Washer (5) into the Left Side Elbow Rest (8). Once the Screw (1) is through the Seat (6), slide on Washer (4) and Nut (3). Hand tighten Nut (3) into place.

4. Now that the assembly is complete, make certain that the Porch Swing is properly aligned
and that all hardware is fully tightened.
5. Before hanging the Porch Swing, make certain that the Chain Hooks (11) face outward, turn
the Chain Hooks (11) if they do not face the proper direction. Make certain that the Chain Hooks (11) are screwed in all the way. To help you locate the exact center chain link (to assure that the Porch Swing hangs evenly), the Chain (10) links are painted red at the middle link and at both ends. Slide the Chain (10) onto the Chain Hooks (11).
6. When hanging the Porch Swing you will need to securely fasten a
J-Hook (not included) that includes a safety clasp, to a solid surface that is part of a solid structure. This structure and solid surface, along with the J-hook must be able to support the weight of the Porch Swing as well as the weight of the people sitting in the Porch Swing. Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 500 Lbs.
Note: Failure to hang the Porch Swing properly risks the possibility of the Porch Swing separating and dropping away from its support, possibly resulting in severe personal injury and property damage.
When installing the Porch Swing, use a J-Hook with a safety clasp (not included) to secure to the Chain (10) of the Porch Swing. If additional chain is used (not included), it must be 1/4” in diameter and of equal or greater strength than the included Chains (10). Before each use, check the hooks and chains and make certain there is no damage. Never try to repair a damaged chain. A damaged chain or hooks should be replaced immediately.
7. Wood water repellent and varnishing are recommended to prolong the life of the wooden
components.
