Physical Characteristics
• Rugged Case – Polyethylene blow-molded unbreakable case provides rugged protection against
multiple 4’ drops to concrete; the industry’s most rugged printer.
• Magnetic Stripe Card Reader – Optional card reader allows for collection of payments on-site.
Communications
• Integrated Printing System – One-piece printer that incorporates intelligent cradle for charging
and communications with a variety of Symbol handheld computers; RS-232 serial connectivity built in.
• DEX Capability – PrintPADs 7900, 9000, and MC70 includes DEX connection capabilities for easy
transmission of data between the PrintPAD and the delivery store’s stock database with no special
software or mechanical switches needed.
• Wireless Connectivity – Optional Bluetooth capabilities built-in for wireless communications (for
PrintPAD 9000 and MC70 only).
Media & Power Source
• Large Paper Capacity & Long Battery Life – Prints approximately 2,240 - 6” receipts on a single
battery charge; auto sleep mode built in for power management.
