The PrintPAD 7900 portable thermal printer works
in the most rugged environments to enable the
production of hardcopy back-ups of digital
information and signature printing, as well as the
eneration of receipts, tickets and labels for a

variety of applications.
The sleek design of the PrintPAD allows users to
conveniently and securely carry their mobile
computer, communicate with the printer, as well as
charge both the mobile computer and the printer, all
in a single integrated package. This innovative onepiece printer system consistsof a 4.41 inch (112 mm)
wide thermal printer in a rugged case and an
embedded communications charging cradle
designed for use in a number of different
applications with the Hand Held Products Dolphin
7900 Mobile Computer.
Application Functions
Beverage & Food Sales: Generate up to 2,240 – 6"
(152 mm) receipts. Prints graphics and logos.
Field Service: Print work summary reports at the
point-of-service.
Route Accounting & Direct Store Delivery (DSD):
Print real-time information such as inventory-level
data at the customer site or in the warehouse.
Rugged Mobile Point-of-Sale (POS): Scan items,
take credit card payment and issue a customer
receipt anywhere on the premises (requires
optional insertion magnetic stripe card reader).
Proof of Delivery: Print high-resolution signatures.

Designed for Comfort and Ease of Use. The
PrintPAD 7900, with integrated carry strap, is
designedfor maximum user comfort. PrintPAD 7900
simply “wakes up” automatically when data is
received so there are no buttons or switches
required for operation. After printing, the PrintPAD
7900 returns to “sleep” mode to conserve battery
life without any user intervention.

PrintPAD for Hand Held Products™Dolphin®7900
The PrintPAD 7900 combines O’Neil’s 4” thermal printer with an
integrated cradle for Hand Held Products’ Dolphin 7900 Mobile
Computer. PrintPAD 7900 offers mobile workers the convenience of
a portable printer and handheld computer united in a single reliable
unit. This rugged solution contains an optional external DEX
communication port for transmission of data between the Dolphin
7900 and the delivery store’s stock database. Easy access to the DEX
connection makes PrintPAD 7900 an ideal solution for route
accounting or DSD; especially within the retail food industry.
