Theradiofrequencykeylessentryisasystemthatitcontrolslockingandunlockingthedoorbywireless remotecontroller.Thissystemconsistsoftwocomponents.TheTRANSMITTERisadevicethattransmits thesignalwhenthebuttonispressed.Thetransmissionsignalconsistsofseveralsynchronouscodes, uniqueidentificationcode,securitycodeandfunctioncode.TheRECEIVERisfixedinsidethevehicle. Itworksintermittentlytopreventthebatteryexhaustion.Whenthereceiverdetectsthesynchronouscode, itrunscontinuouslytoreceivethesignalscompletely.Afterreceivingthesignal,thereceiverdecideswhich operationwillbeperformed.Theusercanselectthefollowingoperationsbypressingthebuttonof theremotetransmitter.

WhenyoupushtheLOCKbutton,allthedoorswilllock. Youcannotlockanyofthedoorswiththeremotetransmitterifanydoorisopenorthekeyisthe ignitionswitch.

Thetransmissionframeconsistsofthesynchronousframeandthedataframe.Thesynchronousframe has30synchronouscodesthatitwillbeusedforthereceivertowakeup.Thedataframeconsistsof 24bitlengthidentificationcode,16bitsecuritycodeandfunctioncode.16milliondifferentidentificationcodes areavailable. Thesecuritycodeisalwayschangedincaseofanyofthebuttonsispressed.Thetransmissiontimeis typically600milliseconds.
4.2Batterysaving
Topreventthebatteryexhaustion,themicro-computerofthetransmitterisusuallyinactive.Whenthebutton willbepressed,themicro-computerwakesupimmediatelyandjudgeswhichbuttonispressing.Thenthe micro-computerconstructsthetransmissionframeandradiatesitfromtheantenna.Aftertransmitting,the micro-computerswitchesstand-bymodebyitself.
