Theradiofrequencykeylessentryis asystemthatitcontrolslockingandunlockingthedoorandalarm thehornbywirelessremotecontroller.Thissystemconsistsofthreecomponents.TheTRANSMITTERisa devicethattransmitsthesignalwhenthebuttonispressed. Thetransmissionsignal consistsofseveral synchronouscodes,uniqueidentificationcode,securitycodeandfunctioncode.TheRECEIVERisfixedinside thevehicle.Itworksintermittentlytopreventthebatteryexhaustion. Whenthereceiverdetectsthe synchronouscode,itrunscontinuouslytoreceivethesignalscompletely.Afterreceivingthesignal,thereceiver decideswhichoperationwillbeperformed. The user can select the following operations by pressing the button oftheremotetransmitter.

ThetransmissionbeginsimmediatelyincaseofLOCKandUNLOCKandPANICbuttonispressed. Thetransmissionframeconsistsofthesynchronousframeandthedataframe.Thesynchronousframe has30synchronouscodesthatitwillbeusedforthereceivertowakeup.Thedataframeconsistsof 24bitlengthidentificationcode,16bitsecuritycodeandfunctioncode.16milliondifferentidentificationcodes areavailable. Thesecuritycodeisalwayschangedincaseofanyofthebuttonsispressed.Thetransmissiontimeis typically300milliseconds.
4.2Batterysaving
Topreventthebatteryexhaustion,themicro-computerofthetransmitterisusuallyinactive.Whenthebutton willbepressed,themicro-computerwakesupimmediatelyandjudgeswhichbuttonispressing.Thenthe micro-computerconstructsthetransmissionframeandradiatesitfromtheantenna.Aftertransmitting,the micro-computerswitchesstand-bymodebyitself.
