Theradiofrequencykeylessentryis asystemthatitcontrolslockingandunlockingthedoorandthe trunkbywirelessremotecontroller.Thissystemconsistsoftwocomponents.TheTRANSMITTERisadevice thattransmitsthesignalwhenthebuttonispressed. Thetransmissionsignal consistsofseveralsynchronous codes,uniqueidentificationcode,securitycodeandfunctioncode.TheRECEIVERisfixedinsidethe vehicle.Itworksintermittentlytopreventthebatteryexhaustion. Whenthereceiverdetectsthe synchronouscode,itrunscontinuouslytoreceivethesignalscompletely.Afterreceivingthesignal,thereceiver decideswhichoperationwillbeperformed. The user can select the following operations by pressing the button oftheremotetransmitter.

WhenyoupushtheLOCKbutton,allthedoorswilllock. Youcannotlockanyofthedoorswiththeremotetransmitterifanydoorisopenorthekeyisthe
ignitionswitch.
UNLOCK
WhenyoupushtheUNLOCKbutton,allthedoorswillunlock. Youcannotunlockanyofthedoorswiththeremotetransmitterifanydoorisopenorthekeyisinthe ignitionswitch.
TRUNK
LOCK
TRUNK
WhenyoupushcontinuouslytheTRUNKbuttonduring0.5s,TRUNKwillopen.

ThetransmissionbeginsimmediatelyincaseofLOCKandUNLOCKbuttonispressed,butTRUNKbutton isbegunafter0.5s. Thetransmissionframeconsistsofthesynchronousframeandthedataframe.Thesynchronousframe has30synchronouscodesthatitwillbeusedforthereceivertowakeup.Thedataframeconsistsof 24bitlengthidentificationcode,16bitsecuritycodeandfunctioncode.16milliondifferentidentificationcodes areavailable. Thesecuritycodeisalwayschangedincaseofanyofthebuttonsispressed.Thetransmissiontimeis typically600milliseconds.
4.2Batterysaving
Topreventthebatteryexhaustion,themicro-computerofthetransmitterisusuallyinactive.Whenthebutton willbepressed,themicro-computerwakesupimmediatelyandjudgeswhichbuttonispressing.Thenthe micro-computerconstructsthetransmissionframeandradiatesitfromtheantenna.Aftertransmitting,the micro-computerswitchesstand-bymodebyitself.
