1. EINFÜHRUNG

Wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich für das OMNITRONIC Funkmikrofon HM-1000 MK2 entschieden haben.
Wenn Sie nachfolgende Hinweise beachten, sind wir sicher, dass Sie lange Zeit Freude an Ihrem Kauf
haben werden.

Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus der Verpackung.

2. SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

Dieses Gerät hat das Werk in sicherheitstechnisch einwandfreiem Zustand verlassen. Um diesen Zustand zu
erhalten und einen gefahrlosen Betrieb sicherzustellen, muss der Anwender unbedingt die Sicherheits­hinweise und die Warnvermerke beachten, die in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung enthalten sind.

Unbedingt lesen:

Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieser Bedienungsanleitung verursacht werden, erlischt der
Garantieanspruch. Für daraus resultierende Folgeschäden übernimmt der Hersteller keine Haftung.

Wartungs- und Servicearbeiten sind ausschließlich dem autorisierten Fachhandel vorbehalten. Schäden, die
durch manuelle Veränderungen an diesem Gerät verursacht werden, fallen nicht unter den
Garantieanspruch. Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet oder falsch angeschlossen, kann dies zu Schäden am
Produkt führen und der Garantieanspruch erlischt.

Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze. Die Umgebungstemperatur muss zwischen -5° C und

45° C liegen. Die relative Luftfeuchte darf 50 % bei einer Umgebungstemperatur von 45° C nicht

+
überschreiten.

Stellen Sie keine Flüssigkeitsbehälter, die leicht umfallen können, auf das Gerät oder in dessen Nähe ab.
Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das Geräteinnere gelangen sollte, lassen Sie das Gerät von einem
qualifizierten Servicetechniker prüfen, bevor es erneut benutzt wird. Beschädigungen, die durch

lüssigkeiten im Gerät hervorgerufen wurden, sind von der Garantie ausgeschlossen.

Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung ein fusselfreies, angefeuchtetes Tuch. Auf keinen Fall Alkohol oder
irgendwelche Lösungsmittel zur Reinigung verwenden!

2.1 Batterien

Batterien sind Sondermüll und müssen als solche entsorgt werden. Soll das Gerät entsorgt werden, müssen
zuerst die Batterien entnommen werden. Die leeren Batterien können Sie fachgerecht im Elektrofachhandel
in den dafür vorgesehenen Sammelbehältern entsorgen. Achten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterie auf die
richtige Polung. Lassen Sie Batterien nicht offen herumliegen, es besteht die Gefahr, dass diese von Kindern
oder Haustieren verschluckt werden. Suchen Sie im Falle eines Verschluckens sofort einen Arzt auf!

Ausgelaufene oder beschädigte Batterien können bei Berührung mit der Haut Verätzungen verursachen,
benutzen Sie deshalb in diesem Fall geeignete Schutzhandschuhe. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Batterien
nicht kurzgeschlossen, nicht ins Feuer geworfen und nicht aufgeladen werden können. Es besteht
Explosionsgefahr. Gießen Sie nie Flüssigkeiten über dem Gerät aus. Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das
Geräteinnere gelangen sollte, sofort die eingelegte Batterie entnehmen. Lassen Sie das Gerät von einem
qualifizierten Servicetechniker prüfen, bevor es erneut benutzt wird. Beschädigungen, die durch
Flüssigkeiten im Gerät hervorgerufen wurden, sind von der Garantie ausgeschlossen.

3. BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG

Das dynamische Handmikrofon HM-1000 MK2 mit Multifrequenzsender dient zur drahtlosen
Übertragung von Sprache und Gesang an den Multifrequenz-Empfänger DR-1000 MK2. Das System
arbeitet im UHF-Frequenzbereich 740-764 MHz. Der Frequenzbereich ist in 192 Kanäle unterteilt, die sich
mit einem Frequenzraster von 125 kHz frei wählen lassen. Das System ist erweiterbar auf bis zu 16
drahtlose Übertragunsstrecken, die im Parallelbetrieb intermodulationsfrei betrieben werden können. Die
Übertragungsreichweite beträgt ca. 100 m und hängt von den örtlichen Gegebenheiten ab.

Das Handmikrofon wird mit zwei 1,5-V-Mignon-Batterien (Typ AA) betrieben und wurde ausschließlich zur
Verwendung in Innenräumen konzipiert. Der Serienbarcode darf niemals vom Gerät entfernt werden, da
ansonsten der Garantieanspruch erlischt.

3.1 Zulassung

Diese Funkanlage wurde gemäß den europäischen Standards EN 300422-2, EN 301489-01, EN 301489-09
und EN 60065 geprüft. Dieses Produkt entspricht somit der R&TTE-Richtlinie der Europäischen Union und

benötigt deshalb keine Einzel-EG-Baumusterprüfung jedes Mitgliedslandes. Die Prüfstelle ist

Funkanlage entspricht der Geräteklasse 2.

In einigen Ländern ist für den Betrieb dieser Funkanlage u. U. eine behördliche Zulassung erforderlich.

5. INBETRIEBNAHME

1. Der Farbring am unteren Ende des Mikrofons lässt sich abziehen und gegen einen der beiliegenden

Ringe austauschen.

2. Für den Betrieb des Mikrofons sind zwei 1,5-V-Mignon-Batterien erforderlich. Schrauben Sie die Kappe

am unteren Ende des Mikrofons ab und setzen Sie die Batterien wie im Batteriefach angegeben ein.
Schrauben Sie die Kappe wieder an.

3. Die Kapazität der Batterien wird im Display dargestellt:

Mit einer frischen Batterie kann das Mikrofon ca. 8 Stunden betrieben werden. Wenn das Batterie-Symbol
im Display blinkt, sind die Batterien erschöpft und das Mikrofon schaltet kurz darauf automatisch ab.

4. Wird das Mikrofon für längere Zeit (ca. 1-2 Wochen) nicht benutzt, nehmen Sie bitte die Batterien

heraus, um das Gerät vor einem eventuellen Auslaufen zu schützen. Bitte beachten Sie auch das
Kapitel Sicherheitshinweise.

ACHTUNG!

Explosionsgefahr bei unsachgemäßem Auswechseln der Batterie.

Nur durch denselben oder einen entsprechenden, vom Hersteller empfohlenen Typ ersetzen.

Verbrauchte Batterien nach den Anweisungen des Herstellers beseitigen.

ENTSORGUNGSHINWEIS

Alte und verbrauchte Batterien bzw. defekte Akkus bitte fachgerecht entsorgen.

Diese gehören nicht in den Hausmüll!

Bitte bei einer Sammelstelle in Ihrer Nähe abgeben.

6. BEDIENUNG

1. Schieben Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter auf POWER, um das Mikrofon einzuschalten. Im Display wird die

voreingestellte Sendefrequenz und das Batteriesymbol für die Kapazität der Batterien angezeigt.

2. Stellen Sie die Sendefrequenz für das Mikrofon ein (Abschnitt 6.1).

3. Stellen Sie den Empfänger auf die gleiche Funkfrequenz ein.

4. Sprechen Sie in des Mikrofon. Der Lautstärkepegel des Mikrofons lässt sich durch Verändern der

Empfindlichkeit einstellen (Abschnitt 6.1).

5. Um ein versehentliches Verändern der Frequenz oder Ausschalten zu verhindern, kann das Mikrofon

gesperrt werden (Abschnitt 6.1).

6. Um das Mikrofon während des Betriebs stumm zu schalten, stellen Sie den Stummschalter MUTE. Es

wird dann kein Ton übertragen.

7. Schieben Sie nach dem Betrieb den Ein-/Ausschalter auf OFF, um das Mikrofon auszuschalten. Das

Display zeigt kurz und erlischt.

6.1 Änderungen im Einstellungsmenü vornehmen

Zum Aufrufen des Einstellungsmenüs halten Sie die Taste SET gedrückt bis das Display den ersten
Menüpunkt zeigt. Durch wiederholtes kurzes Drücken der Taste wählen Sie den gewünschten
Menüpunkt an bzw. brechen den Einstellvorgang ab: (Frequenzeinstellung)  (Empfind­lichkeit)  (Sperrfunktion)  (Abbruch). Die jeweiligen Einstellungen lassen sich mit den
Tasten O und V ändern. Um Ihre Einstellung zu speichern, drücken Sie abschließend kurz die Taste SET.
Das Display zeigt kurz und das Mikrofon schaltet auf normalen Betrieb zurück.

6.1.1 Einstellen der Sendefrequenz

1. Rufen Sie mit der Taste SET den ersten Menüpunkt (Frequenzeinstellung) auf.

2. Stellen Sie mit den Tasten O und V die Frequenz ein: Bei jedem Druck der Taste O erhöht sich die

Frequenz um 125 kHz, bei jedem Druck der Taste V verringert sie sich um 125 kHz.

3. Drücken Sie die Taste SET, um die Frequenz zu speichern.

6.1.2 Mehrkanalbetrieb

Es können bis zu 16 Übertragungssyteme, die auf unterschiedlichen Funkfrequenzen senden, gleichzeitig
betrieben werden. Um Intermodulationsstörungen zu vermeiden, sollten die Frequenzen sorgfältig
aufeinander abgestimmt werden. Verwenden Sie immer Frequenzen aus der gleichen Gruppe, um die beste

bertragungsqualität zu erzielen.

6.1.3 Empfindlichkeit einstellen

1. Rufen Sie mit der Taste SET den Menüpunkt (Empfindlichkeit) auf.

2. Stellen Sie mit den Tasten O und V die Empfindlichkeit (0 dB, -10 dB, -20 dB oder –30 dB) so ein, dass

ein optimaler Lautstärkepegel des Mikrofons erreicht wird. Als Aussteuerungshilfe dient die Anzeige AF
im Display des Empfängers. Reduzieren Sie die Empfindlichkeit wenn das Signal des Mikrofons zu laut
und dadurch verzerrt ist. Erhöhen Sie die Empfindlichkeit wenn der Pegel zu gering ist und sich dadurch
ein schlechter Rauschabstand ergibt.

3. Drücken Sie die Taste SET, um Ihre Einstellung zu Speichern.

6.1.4 Sperrfunktion

Bei aktivierter Sperrfunktion ist es nicht mehr möglich, das Mikrofon auszuschalten und Einstellungen
vorzunehmen. Wird dies versucht, zeigt das Display kurz und wechselt dann wieder zurück auf die
vorherige Anzeige.

1. Rufen Sie mit der Taste SET den Menüpunkt (Sperrfunktion) auf.

2. Drücken Sie die Taste O. Im Display blinkt die Anzeige

3. Drücken Sie die Taste SET, um Ihre Einstellung zu Speichern.

Sperrfunktion deaktivieren

1. Halten Sie die Taste SET gedrückt bis im Display die Einblendung blinkt.

2. Drücken Sie die Taste V. Im Display blinkt die Anzeige und die Sperrfunktion ist deaktiviert.

3. Drücken Sie die Taste SET, um Ihre Einstellung zu Speichern.

7. REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG

Das Gerät sollte regelmäßig von Verunreinigungen wie Staub usw. gereinigt werden. Verwenden Sie zur
Reinigung ein fusselfreies, angefeuchtetes Tuch. Auf keinen Fall Alkohol oder irgendwelche Lösungsmittel
zur Reinigung verwenden!

Im Geräteinneren befinden sich außer den Batterien keine zu wartenden Teile. Wartungs- und
Servicearbeiten sind ausschließlich dem autorisierten Fachhandel vorbehalten!

Sollten einmal Ersatzteile benötigt werden, verwenden Sie bitte nur Originalersatzteile.

1. INTRODUCTION

Thank you for having chosen the OMNITRONIC wireless microphone HM-1000 MK2. If you follow the
instructions given in this manual, we are sure that you will enjoy this device for a long period of time.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This device has left our premises in absolutely perfect condition. In order to maintain this condition and to
ensure a safe operation, it is absolutely necessary for the user to follow the safety instructions and warning
notes written in this user manual.

Important:

Damages caused by the disregard of this user manual are not subject to warranty. The dealer will
not accept liability for any resulting defects or problems.

Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by authorized dealers. Damage caused by
manual modifications on this device is not subject to warranty. If the device is used for other purposes than
originally intended or if it is not correctly connected, the product may suffer damages and the guarantee
becomes void.

Protect the device against humidity and heat. The ambient temperature must always be between -5° C and
+45° C. The relative humidity must not exceed 50 % with an ambient temperature of 45° C.

2.1 Batteries

Batteries are hazardous waste which need to be disposed of appropriately. If the device is to be disposed,
the batteries have to be removed first. Make sure that the poles are correct when inserting the battery. Never
let batteries lying around openly as there is the danger that these can be swallowed by children or domestic
animals. Immediately consult a doctor when batteries are swallowed!

Leaking or damaged batteries can cause irritations when getting into contact with the skin. In this case use
appropriate protective gloves. Make sure that the batteries cannot be short-circuited, thrown into the fire and
be charged. There is a danger of explosion. Never spill any liquids on the device. Should any liquid enter the
device nevertheless, remove the batteries immediately. Please let the device be checked by a qualified
service technician before you operate it again. Any damages caused by liquids having entered the device
are not subject to warranty!

3. OPERATING DETERMINATIONS

The HM-1000 MK2 is a dynamic hand-held microphone with PLL multifrequency transmitter which
serves for wireless transmission of speech and vocals to the multifrequency receiver DR-1000 MK2.
The system operates in the UHF range 740-764 MHz. The frequency range is divided into 192 channels,
which can be selected as desired with a 125 kHz frequency spacing. The system can be expanded to up to
16 wireless transmission sets, which can be operated in parallel without any intermodulation. The
transmission range is approx. 100 m and depends on the local conditions.

The microphone is only allowed to be operated with two 1.5 V mignon batteries (type AA) and was designed
for indoor use only. Never remove the serial barcode from the device as this would make the guarantee void.

3.1 Approval

This wireless microphone system was tested in accordance with the European standards EN 300422-2, EN
301489-01, EN 301489-09 and EN 60065. Consequently, this product adheres to the R&TTE directive of the
European Union and does not need an individual EC type examination of every member state. The notified

4. DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE

4.1 Features

Professional features for professional use

Who does not know the problems caused by anxious users: the presenter starts switching on and off the
microphone, tests the signal transmission by knocking on the cover and making wild announcements or even
changes the frequency. Thanks to OMNITRONIC's HM-1000, these strains on our nerves are over. Due to a
special lock function, the user cannot make any changes by himself or even switch the microphone on and
off.
The sound engineer can read all microphone operation modes right from the receiver display: is the
frequency right, are microphone signals received and is the battery power still sufficient?

5. SETTING INTO OPERATION

1. The color ring at the lower end of the microphone can be taken off and exchanged against one of the

rings supplied.

2. For operation, the microphone two 1.5 V AA batteries. Unscrew the battery at the lower end of the

microphone and insert the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. Replace the cover.

3. The capacity of the batteries is indicated on the display:

With new batteries, the microphone can be operated for approx. 8 hours. If the battery icon on the
display starts flashing the batteries are going flat and the transmitter switches off automatically within a
short time.

4. If the microphone is not used for a longer period (approx. 1-2 weeks), please remove the batteries to

prevent damage in case of battery leakage. Please refer to further explanations in chapter Safety
Instructions.

CAUTION!

Danger of explosion when battery is replaced improperly.

Only replace by the same type or similar types recommended by the manufacturer.

Remove empty battery in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer.

BATTERY DISPOSAL NOTICE

Please dispose of discharged batteries properly.

Batteries are hazardous waste and should not be disposed of with regular domestic waste!

Please take discharged batteries to a collection center near you.

6. OPERATION

1. Set the power switch to POWER, to switch on the microphone. The display indicates the preset

transmission frequency and the battery icon for the battery capacity.

2. Adjust the transmission frequency for the microphone (section 6.1).

3. Set the receiver to the same radio frequency.

4. Speak into the microphone. The volume level can be adjusted by changing the sensitivity (section 6.1).

5. The microphone can be locked to prevent accidental change of frequency and accidental shutdown

(section 6.1).

6. To mute the microphone during operation, set the mute switch to MUTE. Then no sound will be

transmitted.

7. After operation set the power switch to OFF to switch off the microphone. The display shortly indicates

and extinguishes.

6.1 Adjustments in the setup menu

For calling the setup menu keep the button SET pressed until the display indicates the first menu item
. By pressing the button repeatedly you can select the desired menu item or cancel the setting
respectively: (frequency setting)  (sensitivity)  (lock function)  (can­cel). Use the buttons O and V to change a setting and then shortly press the button SET to confirm your
selection. The display shortly indicates and the microphone returns to normal operation.

6.1.1 Adjusting the transmission frequency

1. Use the button SET to call the first menu item (frequency setting).

2. Use the buttons O and V to adjust the frequency: Each actuation of the button O increases the frequency

by 125 kHz, each actuation of the button V decreases the frequency by 125 kHz.

3. Press the button SET to store the frequency.

6.1.2 Multichannel operation

Up to 16 transmission systems on different frequencies can be used at the same time. In order to avoid
intermodulation interference, the radio frequencies should be carefully matched to each other. Always use
frequencies from the same group to achieve the best transmission quality.

6.1.3 Adjusting the sensitivity

1. Use the button SET to call the menu item (sensitivity).

2. Use the buttons O and V to adjust the sensitivity(0 dB, -10 dB, -20 dB or -30 dB) in such a way that an

optimum volume level of the microphone is achieved. The AF indication in the display of the receiver
also serves as an aid for controlling the level. Reduce the sensitivity if the volume of the transmitter
signal is too high and thus distorted. Increase the sensitivity if the volume is too low and a poor S/N ratio
results.

3. Press the button SET to store the frequency.

6.1.4 Lock function

With the lock function activated it is no longer possible to switch off the microphone and to adjust the
transmission frequency. If this is tried, the display shortly indicates and returns to the previous
indication.

Activating the lock function

1. Use the button SET to call the menu item (lock function).

2. Press the button O. The indication flashes in the display and the lock function is activated.

3. Press the button SET to store your setting.

Deactivating the lock function

1. Keep the button SET pressed until the indication c flashes in the display.

2. Press the button V. The indication flashes in the display and the lock function is deactivated.

3. Press the button SET to store your setting.

7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

We recommend a frequent cleaning of the device. Please use a soft lint-free and moistened cloth. Never use
alcohol or solvents!

There are no serviceable parts inside the device except for the batteries. Maintenance and service
operations are only to be carried out by authorized dealers.
