Step 5: Lock the Display
Engage the lock by sliding the locking tab up into place. (Fig. 9)
Make sure that the locking screw is centered in the lock hole, and then tighten securely with the sup­plied Hex Wrench. (Fig. 10)
This will prevent the display from being easily re­moved or dislodged from the wall mount.
Step 6: Tilt the Display
To adjust the tilt angle, grasp the top of the display, and push or pull it into position as required. If necessary, loosen both tilt ten­sioning screws just enough so that the dis­play can be moved by applying pressure to the upper edge.
To lock in the tilt angle, re-tighten both tilt tensioning screws. (Fig. 11)
Important: Always support the upper edge of the display when adjusting the tilt angle.

Step 4: Hang the Display
With the tilt mechanism fully open, lift the display into position in front of the wall plate. Align the slots on the mounting rails with the rods on the wall plate, and then lower the display onto the rods. (Fig. 7)
Caution: Make sure that both rods are fully engaged before re­leasing the display.
Important: Prior to lifting the dis-
play, make sure that the lock is in the open position. (Fig. 8)
Once in place, the lateral position of display can be adjusted by gently sliding it along the rods.

Adjust the mounting rails to equal heights, and then securely tighten the mounting screws.
Caution: Never use a power screwdriver to tighten the mounting screws, or the dis­play may be damaged.

Step 2: Mount the Wall Plate
Using an electronic stud finder, locate the center of the wooden stud at the desired mounting location. Mark the stud center position directly onto the wall. To optimize display placement, the Wall Plate can be offset up to 6” (+/-3”) from stud center in 3/4” increments, by utilizing the offset mounting holes. (Fig. 1)

Step 1: Determine the Mounting Location
Measure the width and height dimensions of the display. Mark the wall with the desired location for the display.
Important: Make sure that there is adequate mounting space available for mounting the display, considering the display dimensions.
Locate the supplied mounting guide. (Fig. 2) Fold the dust collector along the marked lines:
a. Fold main channel up. b. Crease and fold the tab sections inward. c. Fold outer portion of tab around the back of the guide, and then insert
tab into slot.

Remove the tape strip from the back of the guide. Insert the supplied pushpin through the large red cross at the center of the guide. Align mounting hole openings on guide with marks on wall, and pin the guide in place.
Note: If mounting to masonry, use the mounting guide as a template and mark the desired mounting hole locations directly onto the wall.
Using a bubble level, level the guide and then press the adhesive backing against the wall to hold the guide in position. Follow the vertical lines on the guide to transfer your marks to the opposite Mounting Hole.
Drill Mounting Holes:
Wooden Studs - Use a 5/32” (5 mm) drill bit, and drill 4 mounting holes 2.25” (57 mm) deep into the center of the studs.
Masonry – Use a 3/8” (10 mm) masonry bit, and drill 4 mounting holes, 2.5” (64 mm) deep. Insert Wall Anchors into the mounting holes, and tap them flush to the wall with a hammer.
Caution: Wall anchors should only be used for masonry mounting. NEVER use wall anchors to mount the wall plate to drywall.
If cutting openings for an electrical outlet and/or A/V interconnect cables, carefully remove the perforated sections of the guide and then mark and cut the wallboard.
Caution: Make sure that there are no electrical cables running behind the portion of the wall that you will cut.
Carefully remove the guide from the wall, and discard. Note: Be sure to hold the guide in an upright position so as not to spill the collected dust.
Mount the wall plate to the wall with the supplied #12 Phillips Screws and Round Washers.
Note: To make the installation easier, dab a bit of liquid soap onto the screw threads before the driving screws into the stud.
Step 3: Attach the Mounting Rails
Consult the manufacturer of your TV to determine the correct size (diameter/length) display mounting screws to use. Select the correct screws from the supplied Display Hardware Kit.

Loosen the tilt tensioning screw with the supplied Hex Wrench (Fig.
11). Open the tilt mechanism fully, and then loosely re-tighten the tension screw. (Fig. 3)
For proper installation, make sure that the UP indicator stamped into the mounting rails is pointing towards the top of the display (Fig. 3), with the indicator side of the rail facing towards the center
of the display.
Use the selected display mounting screws and the Square Washers to mount the rails to the back of the display. (Fig. 4)
Note: If you wish your display to reach a tilt angle of 0º to –1º, place a Round Washer (N) on the lower mounting screw between the mounting rail and the display. (Fig. 5)

Some displays have recessed mounting lands which will require the use of a spacer. For these displays, install the 3/4” Round Spacer (M) be­tween the display and the rail. (Fig. 6). Note: Align tab in spacer with slot in mounting rail.
