INTRODUCTION
UNIO Body Composition Monitor is a digital monitor intended for use in measuring weight and body fat mass in generally healthy adults 18 years of age or older. It is intended for use in the home/domestic setting only.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please read manual carefully before you use it. This product is not suitable for people wearing a pacemaker or any other internal
medical device.
This product is not a medical device and should not be used to diagnose or treat any
medical conditions.
Do not use the scale on wet floor, with wet feet or wet glass to avoid slipping or falling. It’s better to place the scale on flat and solid ground when measuring. If have to place on
carpet, put the carpet feet on.
When first used or moved, the scale will automatically validate and the second
measurement will be accurate and stable.

CARE AND MAINTAINENCE
Replacing battery
The device uses FOUR AAA alkaline batteries. If the low battery symbol (LO) appears on the device LCD display, replace all four AAA alkaline batteries at once.
1. Remove the battery cover at the lower end.
2. Install or replace 4 AAA alkaline batteries and make sure that the + (positive) and –
(negative) polarities match the polarities indicated on the battery compartment.
3. Put the battery cover back in place.
If the device will not be used for a long period of time, it is advised to remove the alkaline batteries.
Cleaning your scale
Important! Never use any detergents to clean your scale. You may irreversibly damage the
coating which protects the electrodes used to measure your body fat mass.
