Facilities and Pipelines
The OMEGA®HPWS Series long range wireless system allows users to remotely monitor the status of up to four discrete switches such as level, flow, or other contact switches up to 8 miles away.
Ideal applications for the HPWS include supervising the fluid level in a tank, operation of a distant pump from a control station, or monitoring the status of a pipeline. The HPWS Series is also useful for controlling switches in hard to access locations.
One HPWS-REC receiver can monitor a total of 4 switch transmissions from 1 to 4 unique HPWS-TX transmitters.

K-1
The included 0.9 m (3') antenna provides an 8 mile, outdoor line-of-sight range. In addition, the elevated barrier strip allows for easy wiring to user’s switches.
The transmitter’s included backup battery ensures transmissions will continue even when there’s a short power loss at the monitoring location. The HPWS-REC also allows for an optional battery backup, which can provide up to 24 hours of normal use during a power loss. The 12V SLA battery is designed to recharge once AC power is restored.
The HPWS Series transmitters and receivers employ watertight cable glands allowing the fiberglass enclosure to be rated to NEMA 4X (IP66), ensuring continued performance when mounted outdoors.
