Important Safety Instructions
1. Read all instructions.
2. Disconnect the power plug before dismantling, assembling or before cleaning.
3. Avoid touching mobile parts of the unit.
4. Make sure the fan is on a dry and even surface.
5. Never insert fingers, pencils or any other objects through the guards whenever the power plug is connected, especially while running.
6. The appliance is not intended for use by persons (in cludi ng children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervised or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a responsible person for their safely.
7. Young children or infirm persons should be supervi sed to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than its intended use.
9. The fan must not be used if the guards are not fastened according to instructions.
10. When the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
11. Do not use your appliance with an extension cord unless it has been checked and tested by a qualified electrician or electrical supplier.

Assembly Instructions
1. Remove all items of packaging from the tower fan.
2. Turn the tower body upside down and remove the fixing screws.
3. Position the rear base onto the support posts of the rotary support of the fan body. The rear base has a “D” shaped hole which corresponds with a “D” shaped post on the rotary support.
4. Position the power cord into the provided cord track in the rear base.
5. Position the front base over the corresponding posts of the rear base and push down fitting the bases together.
6. Screw the base onto the rotary support with the supplied fixing screws.
7. Turn the tower fan back to an upright position. It is now ready for use.
8. Be sure to remove the remote control from the polystyrene packaging and insert 2 x AAA batteries.

Operating Instructions
1. Use in a dry place, free of excessive humidity and water.
2. This unit can be operated by the control panel on the fan or by remote control in the same manner.
ON/OFF: Press this button to turn the fan on or off.
SPEED: Press either “–“ or “+” buttons to adjust the speed of the fan Each time the
button is pressed the speed will increase or decrease accordingly.
OSC: Press the oscillation button to activate the oscillation function for widespread
breeze distribution. Press again to turn the oscillation function off.
MODE: Choose from 3 different breeze patterns: No rmal, Random Breeze and
Sleep. The display will show a mountain symbol for Random Breeze and Z’s for Sleep.
When Natural or Sleep airflows are selected the fan will continually cycle
through Low, Medium and High fan settings.
TIMER +: Press the timer button to activate the timer-off function. Each time the
button is pressed the timer will be increased by 1hr up to a maximum of 12 hours.
ION: Press the ION button to activate this function. The appliance will release
negative ions to clean the air, the LCD will display a serius of minus signs to indicate this function is in operation. Press again to turn the ION function off.

Care and Maintenance
1. Always disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet when cleaning this unit.
2. Light accumulated dust may be removed from the fan with a soft cloth or vacuum cleaner using the dusting brush attachment.
3. Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan occasionally with a cloth moistened (not dripping wet) with a mild soap solution. Dry the case thoroughly with a soft dry cloth before operating the unit.
4. Avoid the use of gasoline, benzine, thinner etc as they may result in damage to the unit.
5. Store the unit in a clean dry place when not in use.
CAUTION! Do not immerse the fan in water or allow water to drip into the interior of the fan housing as this could create a fire or electric shock hazard.
WARNING! Do not attempt to open or repair the fan yourself. Doing so could void the warranty and cause damage or personal injury.
