Nouvelle Pile Renata pour
Calibre 1666

Situation:

Die Batterie CR 2320, verwendet beim
Kaliber 1666, wird nicht mehr fabri­ziert von Panasonic und ähnlichen
Herstellern.

Lösung:

Einzig die neue Batterie von Renata SA
ist ab sofort zu verwenden, erkennbar
mit der Innschrift E20 auf dem negati­ven (Minus) Pol.

Ersatzteil:

Die Referenz der neuen Batterie lautet
1449953E20 (alte Referenz 1449953).

Situation:

Panasonic and other manufacturers
did terminate the production of battery
reference CR 2320. The old Omega
reference was 1449953.

Solution:

Renata SA is producing a new type of
battery which does fit for the calibre

1666. It can be identified with the ins­cription E20 on the negative pole.

Component:

The new reference for the battery is
1449953E20.

Situation:

La pile référence CR2320 utilisée pour
le calibre 1666 n’étant plus fabriquée
par Panasonic (ou autres fabricants).

Solution:

Il est important d’utiliser dorénavant
uniquement la nouvelle pile de la mai­son Renata identifiée par l’inscription
E20 sur le pôle négatif.

Composants:

La référence de cette nouvelle pile
est 1449953E20 (ancienne référence

1449953).

Fonctions

La couronne est la commande princi­pale permettant de passer d’une fonc­tion à une autre. En position neutre 1
elle garantit l’étanchéité de la montre.
Pressée brièvement, elle permet de
passer à la fonction suivante; tirée en
position 2 elle donne accès aux fonc­tions régies par les poussoirs P1, P2
et P3.

Les diverses fonctions se succèdent en
boucle dans l’ordre suivant:

(MA)

Remarque:

les indications apparaissent uniquement
en anglais.

Lorsque la couronne est en position
neutre 1, le poussoir P3 permet à tout
moment d’éclairer l’écran. Afin d’écono­miser un maximum d’énergie, l’aiguille
des secondes s’arrête pendant l’éclai­rage et rattrape son retard une fois
l’écran éteint. Le poussoir P4 permet à
tout moment de passer directement à
la fonction MISSION ELASPED TIME
(MT) par une simple pression. Une
nouvelle pression sur le poussoir P4
ou la couronne permet de revenir à la
fonction initiale. Le poussoir P4 permet
également de faire disparaître toutes
indications de l’écran digital en pres­sant plus de trois secondes. Il suffit de
presser la couronne ou un poussoir
pour faire réapparaître l’affichage de la
fonction initiale.

Die Krone ist die zentrale Schaltstelle
für alle Funktionen. In der neutralen
Position 1 wird die Wasserdichtigkeit
gewähr-leistet. Wenn sie kurz gedrückt
wird, kann die nächste Funktion gewählt
werden. Wenn sie in die Position 2
gezogen wird, können die Funktionen
über die Drücker P1, P2 und P3
gewählt werden.

Die verschiedenen Funktionen können
in folgender Reihenfolge gewählt wer­den:

Bemerkung:

Die Anzeigen werden nur in Englisch
angegeben.

Mit der Krone in Position 1 kann über
den Drücker P3 jederzeit das Zifferblatt
beleuchtet werden. Um Energie zu spa­ren, bleibt der Sekundenzeiger während
der Beleuchtung stehen und holt die
Verspätung wieder ein, wenn die
Beleuchtung ausgeschaltet wird. Per
einfachen Druck auf den Drücker P4
kann jederzeit die Funktion MISSION
ELASPED TIME (MT) direkt gewählt
werden. Nach erneutem Drücken auf
den Drücker P4 oder die Krone, kehrt
man zur ursprünglichen Funktion
zurück. Wird P4 länger als 3 Sekunden
gedrückt, werden alle Anzeigen auf dem
digitalen Display gelöscht. Es genügt,
die Krone oder einen Drücker zu betäti­gen, um die Anzeige der ursprünglichen
Funktion wieder erscheinen zu lassen.

Functions

The crown is the main command but­ton for passing from one function to
another. In neutral position 1, it gua­rantees the watch’s water-resistance.
A short press on the crown makes the
next function appear ; when pulled to
position 2, the crown gives access to
the functions commanded by push but­tons P1, P2 and P3.

The different functions succeed one
another in the following order:

NB:

The displays are only in English.

When the crown is in neutral position
1, the screen may be lit at any time
using push button P3. To save energy
when the light is used, the seconds
hand stops and then catches up when
the light is turned off. The push button
P4 can be used at any time to access
to MISSION ELAPSED TIME (MT).
A second press on P4 or the crown
makes the previous function return. A
press of more than 3 seconds clears
the screen. A press on the crown or a
push button makes the previous func­tion return.

Synchronisation des aiguilles avec
l’heure digitale

Ne peut se faire qu’après avoir mis la
montre à l’heure en mode digital (mode
TIME).

- Presser plus de trois secondes P4
afin de faire disparaître toutes indi­cations sur l’écran.

- Presser la couronne pendant 3
secondes ou la tirer en position 2.
Go ON? et l’heure digitale apparais­sent sur l’écran.

- Presser P1, l’heure digitale s’arrête
et HandS apparaît.

- Presser P2 pour faire avancer
l’aiguille des secondes afin de la
synchroniser avec les secondes de
l’affichage digital.

- Presser P1,

HandM apparaît.

- Presser P2 pour faire avancer ou P3
pour faire reculer l’aiguille des minu­tes afin de la synchroniser avec les
minutes de l’affichage digital.

- Presser P1,

HandH apparaît.

- Presser P2 pour faire avancer ou P3
pour faire reculer l’aiguille des heu­res afin de la synchroniser avec les
heures de l’affichage digital.

- Repousser la couronne en position

1. Les aiguilles rattrapent le retard
accumulé depuis le début du régla­ge. Il suffit de presser la couronne
ou un poussoir pour faire réapparaî­tre l’affichage de la fonction initiale.

Attention
L’aiguille des minutes effectue des
sauts de 1/2 minute. Si les secondes
sont comprises entre 30 sec.et 59 sec.,
l’aiguille des minutes doit être position­née entre deux graduations
de la minuterie représentée sur le
cadran.

Stundenzeiger vorwärts bzw. rüc­kwärts zu bewegen, bis er mit den
Stunden der digitalen Anzeige übe­reinstimmt.

- Die Krone wieder in Position
1 drücken. Die Zeiger holen
die Verspätung seit Beginn der
Synchronisation wieder auf. Es
genügt, die Krone oder einen
Drücker zu drücken, um die Anzeige
der ursprünglichen Funktion wieder
erscheinen zu lassen.

Achtung
Der Minutenzeiger vollbringt 1/2­Minuten-Sprünge. Wenn die Sekunden
zwischen 30 und 59 betragen, muss
der Minutenzeiger zwischen zwei
Minutenteilungen gestellt werden.

To Synchronize the Hands with the
Digital Time

This is done only after the correct digi­tal time is set (TIME).

- Press P4 for more than 3 seconds to
clear the screen.

- Push the crown during 3 seconds or
pull it to position 2. Go On ? and the
digital time are displayed.

- Press P1 : digital time stops and
HandS is displayed.

- Press P2 to make the seconds hand
move forward, to synchronize it with
the digital seconds.

- Press P1,

HandM is displayed.

- Press P2 to make the minute hand
move forward or P3 to make it move
backward, to synchronize it with the
digital minutes.

- Press P1,

HandH is displayed.

- Press P2 to make the hour hand
move forward or P3 to make it move
backward, to synchronize it with the
digital hour.

- Push the crown into position 1. The
hands catch up to the correct time.
Press the crown again to return to
the previous function.

Attention
The minute hand jumps by ½ minute.
If the seconds are situated between
30 and 59 seconds, the minute hand
should be positioned between two
minute-scale marks.

- Krone wieder in Position 1 drücken.

To Change the Date

- Press the crown until the DATE

Alarme (réveil)
La fonction ALARM sonne toutes

les 24 heures durant 20 secondes.
Lorsque l’alarme sonne, la fonction
ALARM s’affiche automatiquement
sur l’écran . Si la sonnerie n’est pas
arrêtée, une deuxième sonnerie retentit
une minute plus tard durant 15 secon­des.

- Presser sur la couronne jusqu’à l’af

­fichage de la fonction ALARM sur le
cadran.

- Presser sur la couronne pendant 3
secondes ou la tirer en position 2.
MIN apparaît sur l’écran et les minu­tes clignotent.

- Presser P2 pour ajouter ou P3 pour
soustraire des minutes.

- Presser P1. HOURS apparaît sur
l’écran et les heures clignotent.

- Presser P2 pour ajouter ou P3 pour
soustraire des heures.

- Repousser la couronne en position

1. La fonction ALARM s’enclenche
automatiquement et ON apparaît sur
l’écran.

- Presser la couronne ou un poussoir

Description

The chronograph function times short
time intervals to 1/100 second.
After 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 and 99
hundredths seconds the timing stops
and returns automatically to zero.

- Press the crown until CHR
0:00: 00 .00 is displayed.

- Cumulated time:
press P1 start-stop, start-stop, etc.

- Split times:
press P1 start, then P2 split, then P2
again to continue the timing.

- Stop:
Press P1.

- Return-to-zero:
Press P2 after pressing P1 for stop.
