1.0 Electrical tests
Rate adjustment by inhibition. The rate can only be
measured using an instrument capable of measuring for
sixty seconds or multiple times sixty seconds.
1.1 Fitting the battery
Slide the battery under the battery clamp no. 4400. Gently
press on battery to position it in place with the bridle +
no. 4401.

For the Witschi Q 6000:
The «Motor» LED lights up with
every impulse.
Impulses per minute at
the integrated circuit
output 3 per minute
Measured with checked battery.

10 μA ≤ 0,70 μA Movement consumption
Measured without battery,
external supply, 1.55 V.
2 V ≤ 1,30 V
Lower limit for
operating voltage
Measured without battery,
variable external supply, starting
with 1.55V, continually reduce
voltage until movement stops
4 • 10 kΩ 1,55 V ~ 1,85 kΩ Condition of coil
5 • 100 kΩ - Coil insulation

Remark: With the additional contact position 6, R/T with the – contact, the motor is driven with 16 or 32 steps/s
The clockwise rotation of the hands allows an immediate check.
Ohmmeters with measuring voltage greater than 0.40V inappropriate; recommended voltage 0.20V.
Ambient temperature 20°C.
