Omcan Manufacturing and Distributing Company Inc. and Food Machinery of America, Inc. dba Omcan are not responsible for any harm or injury caused due to any person’s improper or negligent use of this equipment. The product shall only be operated by someone over the age of 18, of sound mind, and
not under the inuence of any drugs or alcohol, who has been trained in the correct operation of this machine, and is wearing authorized, proper safety clothing. Any modication to the machine voids any warranty, and may cause harm to individuals using the machine or in the vicinity of the machine while
in operation.
CHECK PACKAGE UPON ARRIVAL
Upon receipt of an Omcan shipment please inspect for external damage. If no damage is evident on the external packaging, open carton to ensure all ordered items are within the box, and there is no concealed damage to the machine. If the package has suffered rough handling, bumps or damage (visible or concealed), please note it on the bill of lading before accepting the delivery and contact Omcan within 24 hours, so we may initiate a claim with the carrier. A detailed report on the extent of the damage caused to the machine must be
lled out within three days, from the delivery date shown in the shipping documents. Omcan has no recourse
for damaged products that were shipped collect or third party.
This bread slicer is designed for shops, bakeries. The safety guard device is designed especially for protecting the operator with an interlocked safety loaf pusher system and is powered by a 1/2 HP motor. A packing shelf
is provided so the operator can pack bread easily. A crumb drawer is tted for collecting excess bread pieces.
The heavy construction blade frame makes smoothly and even sliced bread.
WARNING: These slicers are designed and constructed for bread processing only, they must not be used for any other reason.
Safety and Warranty
When using this machine, always make sure the following conditions or operations are in effect. Failure to do this may cause an accident, damage to the machine or void the manufacturer’s warranty.
This bread slicer is designed and constructed for bread processing only.
Do not put any inexible material into the slicing area.
Do not put hands into the feed when opening pusher of slicer.
When slicing, do not put hands into slicing area.
Make sure your electrical service is corresponded specication on the name plate.
All maintenance work should be carried out after having removed the plug socket.

WARNING:
The packaging components (cardboard, polyethylene, and others) are classied as normal solid urban waste and can therefore be disposed of without difculty.
In any case, for suitable recycling, we suggest disposing of the products separately (differentiated waste) according to the current norms.
DO NOT DISCARD ANY PACKAGING MATERIALS IN THE ENVIRONMENT!

Installation
LOCATION
Carefully remove the protective crate and skids to prevent the machine and parts from being scratched or damaged.
Placing the bread slicer on a smooth and stable surface of table. Allowing working space large enough for putting bread on guide board and packing sliced bread. It is not necessary to x the machine to table, but
smooth surface is important to prevent from vibrating.
The bread slicer is cleaned before shipment, the machine may get dirty during transportation, please clean it with suitable solution.
ELECTRICAL CONNECT
Before making the electrical connections, read the specications on the rating plate to make sure that they
agree with those of your electric service.
Electrical connect should be made by qualied technician who will observe all applicable safety codes and
the national electrical standards.
Operation
1. Pull starting handle to forward direction, safety guard is opening and power is shut off.
2. Place bread on guide board.
3. Pull handle back. Safety guard closed automatically and power turns on. The safety loaf pusher passed each loaf completely through the slicer blades and power is shut off.
4. Take sliced bread out from front guide board.
Maintenance
CLEANING
The slicer should be cleaned daily; wipe slicer with a clean damp cloth or a brush to aid in cleaning operation.
The crumb drawer must be emptied at regular intervals to prevent from mechanical failure.
WARNING: It is not recommended that gasoline or any other highly inammable cleaning agent is
used.
WARNING:
1. A metal brush is prohibited.
2. Never clean the slicer with a water hose or high pressure water jets.
