Before You Start
Read the operating manual thoroughly and observe all the information contained when using the alarm system. Keep the operating manual in a safe place for future reference.
Pay attention to this symbol. Texts which are highlighted by this symbol provide helpful information on handling the alarm system.
User Information
The alarm system is a passive security product and has been conceived as a deterrent. Additional measures are necessary to prevent and hinder burglary and theft. You can obtain all the necessary information on this from your local police station. Read the operating instruction manual thoroughly before connecting and starting the system for
the rst time.
The operating manual will help prevent application errors and, at the same time, ensure you can exploit all the technical options provided by the alarm system to the full.
Safety Instructions
The following safety information applies to the entire document. Read and observe all the warning information to protect yourself and the environment from any harm.
Warning! This device can be used by

ence and knowledge as long as they are supervised or have been instructed with regard to safe use of the device and are aware of the potential risks involved with its use. Children must never play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance may not be completed by children without any supervision.
Warning! Risk of fatal injury from electric shock! NEVER use the equipment if you suspect damage to the power plug or equipment or can see damage to the power plug or equipment.
Warning! NEVER complete any repairs to the device yourself. Contact our Service department. The device does not contain any parts which the user needs to repair or service.
Warning! Risk of suocation! Children
can swallow small parts, packaging and protective foils. Keep the device and packaging out of reach of children.
Warning! The air vents in the base unit must not be covered. Do not use the base unit when packed in closed containers.

Caution! Hearing damage through loud
alarm signal! Due to legal requirements, the alarm signal continues for a maxi-
mum of 120seconds. The alarm signal switches o automatically after about 120seconds if the user does not inter-
rupt it. Use ear protectors when testing the device. Do not remain in the vicinity of the acoustic alarm for a longer period when it has been triggered.
Attention! Risk of property damage through the use of inappropriate batteries! The use of inappropriate batteries can cause a loss of function of the device. Only use batteries of the type described in Section “Technical Data”.
Attention! Risk of property damage
through environmental inuences! Prevent environmental inuences such
as exposure to smoke, dust, vibration, chemicals, moisture, heat and direct sunlight.

Important! Before starting to position the
sensors, take into account that walls, ceilings and sources of electrical disturbance can impair wireless communication.
Intended Use
The Secure AS 302 alarm system, consisting of a base unit, remote control and door/window contact, is intended for use monitoring rooms and buildings and can be controlled via the Secure Light app.
Any other use is considered unintended use. Unauthor-
ised modications or reconstructions are not permitted.
Only use the alarm system indoors within the permitted ambient conditions. The alarm system is only intended for private use.
A condition for complying with the intended use is that the equipment is installed correctly and the information in the manual is observed and maintained. The operating manual must be enclosed with the equipment if handed over to others.

Only connect the base unit to an individual power socket. Do not connect the base unit to a connector strip or multiple socket.
Locate the base unit as centrally as possible so that there is an optimum connection to all the sensors registered.
1 Plug the base unit in an easily accessible, properly
installed, earthed power socket.
Pay attention that the function keys face upwards or towards you because this simplies operation.
Control Lamp
The table below indicates the various states of the control lamp on the base unit. The brightness level of the control lamp can be adjusted via the app.

Preparing the Secure AS 302
This section explains the initial steps to take to connect the
Secure Light app with the base unit.
Installing the App
Download the current version of the Secure Light app from the App Store or Google Play Store onto your smartphone.
Or scan the adjacent QR code.
Connecting the App and Base Unit
You can control the base unit of the alarm system via the
Secure Light app. You can then use up to 5smartphones
to switch the various alarm modes on the alarm system on
and o and set all the functions provided on the base unit.
Ensure that the base unit of the alarm system is connected to an easily accessible power socket as described in Section
Positioning the Base Unit and Putting it into Operation
on Page10. Remember that your smartphone must be within range of
the base unit in order to connect the app and base unit.
1 Activate the Bluetooth function in the Settings menu of
your smartphone.
2 Start the app. 3 Use the metal pin to press in the Reset function key
on the alarm system base unit.

If Something Does Not Work
You have discovered that something is not working. First of all, try and identify the problem and attempt to solve the problem using the solutions suggested.
The base unit is not opened when I try to access it via the app.
Observe the range for Bluetooth communication (see Section Technical Data on Page36). Wireless transmission can be impaired by walls, ceilings and other sources of interference. Reduce the distance between the base unit and your smartphone.
Pay attention that the Bluetooth function is activated in your smartphone settings.
Other Bluetooth devices could interfere with the connec-
tion. Switch the Bluetooth function o temporarily for the
other devices.
I want to register a sensor but the base unit cannot
nd the sensor.
Observe the range for wireless communication (see Section Technical Data on Page36). Wireless transmission can be impaired by walls, ceilings and other sources of interference. Reduce the distance between the base unit and the sensor in question.
The batteries in the sensor are discharged. Replace the used batteries in the relevant sensor with new ones of the same type.

The app breaks down.
Download the latest version of the app from the App Store / Google Play Store. Observe the minimum system requirements of the app (see Section Technical Data on Page36).
The control lamp is too bright. The brightness of the control lamp can be adjusted. The
adjustment aects each defense line.
Navigate to my device - linked to lamp - brightness in the app. Set the brightness for the control lamp here.
None of the problems described is similar to mine or the solutions proposed do not help.
Try and reset the default factory settings. Observe the information in Section Restoring the Default Factory Settings on Page34.
If this does not help either, contact our Service department. More information is available in Section Guarantee on Page35.

Restoring the Default Factory Settings
You have encountered a problem that cannot be solved using the help provided in Section If Something Does Nor Work on Page32. Try and reset the default factory settings.
Restoring the factory settings automatically deletes all the personal user settings.
Restore the factory settings before you hand over the alarm system to third parties, for example, or if you encounter a problem which cannot be cleared in any other way.
1 Ensure that the alarm system is connected to the
power supply.
2 Use the metal pin and press the Reset function key
for 5seconds.
3 The factory settings are restored on the base unit.
