A) Using the Rubber Eyecup
The zoom eyepiece includes a soft rubber eyecup for eyeglass wearers. Fold down the
rubber eyecup to observe the full apparent field of view with eyeglasses on.
B) Focusing
Adjust the eyepiece so it’s at the lowest zoom power first. Then focus using the focus knob
until the image in the eyepiece is sharp. You can adjust the zoom power as necessary.
Refocusing is almost always necessary when the power has been changed.
C) Storing the Spotting Scope
Remove the Spotting Scope from the tripod head and slip the bag over it from the front. To
view simultanesouly, unzip and flip down the lid of the bag to expose the lens.
USING THE SPOTTING SCOPE
CAUTION!
NEVER USE YOUR SPOTTING SCOPE TO
LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN. PERMANENT
EYE DAMAGE WILL RESULT.
To prevent the Spotting Scope from slipping
out, carry the bag with the lens facing upward.
All zippers must be zipped.
