WARNINGS
This appliance is intended for domesc household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any other applicaon, such as for non-domesc use or in a commercial environment. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. The appliance is only to be used with the types of detachable control unit or detachable transformer that is marked on the appliance. When not in use, store as follows. When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding. Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage. Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such signs,
if the appliance has been misused or does not work, return it to the supplier before switching it on again. This appliance is not intended for medical use in hospitals. Do not use if wet. This appliance must not be used by persons insensive to heat and other very vulnerable persons who are unable to react to overheang. Children under the age of three are not to use this appliance due to their inability to react to overheang.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your appliance, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and/or injury to persons, basic safety precauons should always be followed, including the following:
• Only use the controller provided.
• This appliance is recommended only for human use, not for pets.
• Avoid prolonged use of the appliance at the high seng as this may cause skin burns.
• Do not use the appliance when it is damp or in moist environments. It may only be used again once it is completely dry.
• The controls and leads must not be exposed to any kind of moisture.
• Do not reach or retrieve the appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug the appliance immediately.
• During operaon, the switch and lead may not be placed on or under the appliance or covered in any other way whatsoever.

• Do not place any heat sources (e.g. hot water boles or heang pads) on the appliance.
• Never carry, pull or turn the appliance using the power cable and do not clamp the cable.
• Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the mains socket when it is not in use.
• In the event of a defect, do not repair the appliance yourself. Repairs must only be carried out by a qualified personnel.
• Regularly inspect the supply cord, plug, controller and the heang pillow for any damage. If damage is found, immediately stop use of the appliance.
• If you experience any pain or discomfort while using the appliance, stop using it immediately.

The controller has both numeric and Braille heat markings. The settings are: 0 OFF 1 Low heat 2 Medium heat 3 High heat
OPERATION
Warning: Before each use, check that the heang pillow is not creased or folded. You must always use the heang pillow with the wrap.
1. Make sure the cable connector is securely aached to the pillow connector by pushing both parts together for a ght fit.
2. Make sure that the controller is in the 0 posion.
3. Connect the plug into the closest mains socket.
4. Move the heat seng on the controller to the desired heat level.
• When the heang pillow is in operaon, the controller may slightly warm, therefore, ensure that the controller is not covered or placed on the heang pillow while the appliance is switched on.
5. Always ensure that the heat seng is moved to “0” and remove the controller from the mains socket when not in use.
Safety Timer: The appliance has a built-in mer and will automacally switch off aer 90 minutes.
• To switch back on the appliance, first set the controller to “0”and wait for about 5 second. Then select the new heat seng.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always unplug and remove the controller from the appliance before cleaning.
The power cable must NEVER come into contact with water. Clean the heang pillow with a damp cloth. Before using the heang pillow, make sure it is completely dry.
Take out the heang pillow from the wrap.
Wash the wrap in warm soapy water and rinse it thoroughly. The wrap may be washed on the WOOL or DELICATES seng of washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Hang the wrap to air dry naturally in a horizontal posion unl completely dry. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Maintenance
Examine the appliance regularly to check that there are no signs of wear or damage. If any damage/wear is spoed, do not use
the appliance and seek specialist advice. If the mains lead or controller is damaged, do not open or aempt to repair them as they must be serviced by a qualified person.
Storage
When not in use, allow to cool and dry then fold neatly but not ghtly (or roll) in the original packaging without sharp bends in the heang element. Store where no other objects will be placed upon it in a cool dry place.
