fast transmission speeds and 50-page
automatic document feeders, so users

The OKIFAX 5980 and 5980 Dual Line
models come standard with 12.5 MB
of RAM (up to 1,000 pages1); the 5780
comes with 2.5 MB (200 pages1), which
can be upgraded to 10.5 MB. All three
models have a 72-hour battery backup
— so no faxes will be lost if the power
goes out, even over a long weekend.
Their 33.6 Kbps modem (the Dual Line
model has two) can transmit a page in
as little as 2.5 seconds1, saving time
and telephone costs. The 5980 models
also have JBIG compression, so file
sizes are further reduced for even faster
transmission.
OKIFAX 5780/5980 units can scan
documents at true 600 dpi,
