FÜR SPÄTEREN GEBRAUCH AUFBEWAHREN.

1. Beachten Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise, um Schäden durch nicht sachgemäßen Gebrauch zu vermeiden! Beachten Sie alle Warnhinweise auf dem Produkt sowie in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung.

2. Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung für den weiteren Gebrauch auf. Sollte dieses Produkt an Dritte weitergegeben werden, muss diese Gebrauchsanweisung mit ausgehändigt werden.

3. Im Falle von unsachgemäßem Gebrauch oder falscher Handhabung kann keine Haftung für eventuell auftretende Schäden übernommen werden.

4. Verwenden Sie das Produkt nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck. Das Produkt ist nicht für kommerziellen Gebrauch geeignet. Dieses Produkt ist für den Innengebrauch und ausschließlichen Gebrauch im Haushalt konzipiert.

5. Stellen Sie vor dem Anschluss des Produktes an die Steckdose sicher, dass die auf dem Produkt angegebene Spannung mit der Netzspannung übereinstimmen.

6. Versuchen Sie nie, das Produkt selbst zu reparieren. Lassen Sie das Produkt im Falle von Störungen nur von qualiﬁzierten Fachleuten reparieren.

7. Warnung! Tauchen Sie elektrische Teile des Produkts während des Reinigens oder des Betriebs nie in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten. Halten Sie das Produkt nie unter ﬂießendes Wasser.

8. Önen Sie unter keinen Umständen das Gehäuse. Führen Sie keine Gegenstände in das Innere des Gehäuses ein.

9. Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer gut erreichbaren Steckdose, um im Notfall das Produkt schnell von der Netzversorgung trennen zu können. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, um das Produkt vollständig auszuschalten. Benutzen Sie den Netzstecker als Trennvorrichtung.

10. Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig den Netzstecker und das Netzkabel auf Beschädigungen. Ist die Anschlussleitung dieses Produktes beschädigt, muss sie durch eine spezielle Anschlussleitung, die beim Hersteller oder seinem Kundendienst erhältlich ist, ersetzt werden.

11. Verhindern Sie eine Beschädigung des Kabels durch Quetschen, Knicken oder Scheuern an scharfen Kanten. Halten Sie es von heißen Oberﬂächen und oenen Flammen fern.

12. Verlegen Sie das Kabel so, dass ein unbeabsichtigtes Ziehen bzw. ein Stolpern über das Kabel nicht möglich ist. Halten Sie sowohl das Produkt als auch das Netzkabel außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern.

13. Die Benutzung von Zubehörteilen, die vom Hersteller nicht ausdrücklich empfohlen werden, kann Verletzungen und Beschädigungen verursachen. Verwenden Sie deshalb nur Originalzubehör.

14. Stellen Sie keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Produkt. Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände mit oenen Flammen, wie z. B. Kerzen auf oder neben das Produkt. Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände, wie z. B. Vasen, auf oder neben das Produkt.

15. Halten Sie das Produkt von allen heißen Flächen und oenen Flammen fern. Betreiben Sie das Produkt immer auf einer ebenen, stabilen, sauberen und trockenen Fläche. Schützen Sie das Produkt vor extremer Hitze und Kälte, Staub, direkter Sonneneinstrahlung, Feuchtigkeit sowie Tropf- und Spritzwasser.

16. Decken Sie die Lüftungsönungen des Produkts nicht ab. Achten Sie auf eine ausreichende Belüftung. Stellen Sie das Produkt nicht in einen Schrank. Lassen Sie mindestens 10 cm in allen Richtungen um das Produkt Platz, um eine ausreichende Belüftung zu gewährleisten.

17. Die Belüftung darf nicht durch Abdecken der Lüftungsönungen mit Gegenständen behindert werden, wie z. B. Zeitungen, Tischdecken, Vorhänge usw.

18. Das Produkt ist nur für die Verwendung in gemäßigten Breitengraden geeignet. Verwenden Sie es nicht in den Tropen oder unter feuchten Klimabedingungen.

19. Achtung! Sollte das Produkt infolge der elektrostatischen Entladung und kurzer Überspannung fehlerhaft funktionieren, trennen Sie es von der Netzversorgung und schließen Sie es erneut an.

20. Vorsicht! Benutzen Sie nur gleiche Batterietypen mit den entsprechenden technischen Daten zum Ersatz. Explosionsgefahr!

21. Setzen Sie Batterien keinen extremen Temperaturen, wie etwa direkter Sonneneinstrahlung oder Feuer, aus.

22. Setzen Sie Batterien immer gemäß der korrekten Polarität (+ und –), wie im Batteriefach und auf den Batterien abgebildet, ein.

23. Erlauben Sie Kindern nicht, Batterien ohne Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen zu wechseln.

24. Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn Sie das Produkt eine längere Zeit nicht verwenden.

25. Entfernen Sie verbrauchte Batterien sofort aus dem Produkt und entsorgen Sie diese bestimmungsgemäß.

26. Batterien: Lesen Sie die Sicherheitsanweisungen des Batterieherstellers.

27. Dieses Produkt ist kein Spielzeug. Es darf nicht von Kindern verwendet werden.

28. Die Informationen auf der CD wird von einem Laser durch eine optische Linse eingelesen (nicht berühren). Wenn das Produkt von einem kalten in einen warmen Raum gebracht wird, kann Feuchtigkeit auf der Linse kondensieren und dadurch die Wiedergabe behindern. In diesem Fall lassen Sie das Produkt vor dem Gebrauch eine Stunde bei Raumtemperatur akklimatisieren. Entfernen Sie eine eingelegte CD aus dem Produkt. Sollte das Problem bestehen bleiben, lassen Sie das Produkt von einem Fachmann überprüfen.

STROMVERSORGUNG

Netzbetrieb

Achtung!

• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht gleichzeitig im Netz- und Batteriebetrieb.

• Entnehmen Sie alle Batterien, wenn Sie das Produkt über das Netzkabel betreiben.

• Trennen Sie das Produkt, bevor Sie die Batterien einsetzen.

Schließen Sie den DC-Stecker an der DC 5V -Buchse an.

Stecken Sie das Netzteil in eine geeignete Steckdose.

Hinweis: Alternativ können Sie das Produkt auch mit Batterien betreiben.

Batteriebetrieb

Achtung!

• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht gleichzeitig im Netz- und Batteriebetrieb.

• Entfernen Sie zuerst das Produkt vom Netz, bevor Sie Batterien einlegen.

BEDIENUNG

Ein- und Ausschalten

Drücken Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste einzuschalten. Drücken Sie erneut die Ein-/Aus-Taste für ca. 1 Sekunde, um das Produkt auszuschalten.

Funktion auswählen

Drücken Sie kurz die Modus-Taste

> FM > CD > Bluetooth® auszuwählen.

Lautstärkeregelung

Die Lautstärke kann einfach durch Drücken der Lautstärketasten VOL+/VOL- eingestellt werden. Die eingestellte Lautstärke wird fur einen Moment im Display angezeigt.

DAB RADIO

Drücken Sie die Taste Wenn Sie das Radio zum ersten Mal einschalten, dann führt dieses einen automatischen Suchlauf der DAB/DAB+ -Sender durch. Die Senderliste wird gespeichert, sodass beim nächsten Einschalten des Radios kein erneuter Suchlauf gestartet wird. Wenn der Suchlauf abgeschlossen ist, werden die Sender in alphabetischer Reihenfolge sortiert. Der erste verfügbare Sender wird wiedergegeben. Hinweis: Wenn zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt kein DAB Empfang möglich ist, dann ändern Sie die Position des Geräts oder richten die Antenne neu aus.

AUTOMATISCH DAB-RADIOSENDER SPEICHERN

Langer Tastendruck auf MENU im DAB-Modus und dann die Tasten SKIP+/- bis <Full scan> im Display erscheint. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit ENTER. Das Gerät durchsucht alle verfügbaren DAB/DAB+ -Sender und gibt den ersten verfügbaren Sender wieder. Alternativ können Sie die automatische Suchfunktion durch Drücken von SCAN aktivieren.

Hinweis:

Neue Radiosender und Dienste werden zu den DAB/DAB+ -Sendern hinzugefügt. Um neue DAB/DAB+ -Sender und Dienste auf Ihrem Radio verfügbar zu machen, führen Sie regelmäßig einen Suchlauf durch.

SENDERINFORMATIONEN ANZEIGEN

1. Stellen Sie DAB-Radiosender ein.

2. Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe von DAB/DAB+ -Radio wiederholt MENU, um

durch die folgenden Informationen zu blättern (falls verfügbar):

• Ensemblename

• Frequenz

• Signalfehlerrate

• Audiostatus und Bitrate

• Zeit

• Datum

• Radiotext

• Signalstärke

• Programmtyp

• Power mains

MANUELL DAB-SENDER SPEICHERN

Sie können maximal 20 DAB/DAB+ -Sender speichern.

1. Stellen Sie den gewünschten DAB-Sender ein.

2. Drücken und halten Sie die Taste PRESET für eine Sekunde. Im Display erscheint

Preset Store/Progr. speichern. Drücken Sie die Tasten SKIP -/+ um den gewünschten Programmspeicherplatz auszuwählen. Drücken Sie die Taste ENTER um den aktuellen Radiosender auf dem ausgewählten Programmspeichersplatz abzuspeichern.

3. Wiederholen Sie die Schritte 1 bis 2, um weitere DAB/DAB+ -Sender zu speichern.

Hinweis: Sollte bereits ein DAB-Sender voreingestellt sein, wird dieser überschrieben, wenn Sie einen neuen Sender speichern.

VOREINGESTELLTEN DAB- RADIOSENDER AUSWÄHLEN

1. Haben Sie Ihre Radiosender wie gewünscht abgespeichert, können Sie diese durch kurzes Drücken der Taste PRESET, Auswahl mit den Tasten SKIP -/+ und Bestätigung durch Drücken der Taste ENTER, aufrufen.

VERWENDEN DES DAB/DAB+ -MENÜS

Drücken Sie im DAB Modus die Taste MENU, sodass [Full scan] erscheint und danach die Tasten SKIP+/-, um durch die Menüoptionen zu blättern. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl jeweils mit ENTER.

• <Full scan>

(Vollständiger Sendersuchlauf) Suchen aller verfügbaren DAB/DAB+ -Sender.

Dynamic Range Control Einstellung macht leise Töne in einer lauten Umgebung besser hörbar. O/low/high

UKW-RADIO

Radiosender einstellen

1. Wählen Sie den Radiomodus. Drücken Sie die Taste SCAN, um das gesamte Frequenzband zu durchsuchen. Drücken Sie die Tasten SKIP-/+ für ca. 1

Sekunde, um Sender nacheinander zu suchen. Wird ein Sender empfangen, stoppt die Suche. Zum Weitersuchen, drücken Sie die Tasten SKIP-/+ erneut für ca. 1 Sekunde.

2. Zur Feinabstimmung tippen die Tasten SKIP-/+ nur kurz an, um die Frequenz in Schritten von ± 0,05 MHz zu ändern.

Programmspeicher

20 Radiostationen kann ein individueller Programmspeicherplatz zugewiesen

werden.

1. Wählen Sie ein Radiosender wie im Absatz Radiosender einstellen beschrieben.

2. Drücken Sie die Taste PRESET für 1 Sekunde, um das Abspeichern des Senders zu beginnen. Im Display erscheint Preset Store / Progr.speichern.

3. Drücken Sie die Tasten SKIP -/+ um den gewünschten Programmspeicherplatz auszuwählen.

4. Drücken Sie die Taste ENTER um den aktuellen Radiosender auf dem ausgewählten Programmspeichersplatz abzuspeichern.

5. Haben Sie Ihre Radiosender wie gewünscht abgespeichert, können Sie diese

durch kurzes Drücken der Taste PRESET, Auswahl mit den Tasten SKIP -/+ und Bestätigung durch Drücken der Taste ENTER, aufrufen.

Hinweise:

Für besseren UKW-Empfang: Ziehen Sie die Antenne ganz heraus.

Verwenden des FM-Menüs

1. Drücken Sie im FM-Modus die Taste MENU für ca. 1Sekunde und wählen Sie mit den Tasten SKIP+/- eine Menüoption aus:

2. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit ENTER.

SCAN-Einstellung

1. Drücken Sie im FM-Modus die Taste MENU für ca. 1 Sekunde und wählen Sie mit

den Tasten SKIP+/- die Option <Scan setting>.

2. Drücken Sie ENTER, um die Auswahl zu bestätigen.

3. Wählen Sie mit den Tasten SKIP +/- eine Menüoption aus und bestätigen Sie mit

ENTER.

AUDIO-EINSTELLUNG

1. Drücken Sie im FM-Modus die Taste MENU für ca. 1 Sekunde und wählen Sie mit den Tasten SKIP+/- die Option <Audio setting>.

2. Drücken Sie die Taste ENTER, um die Auswahl zu bestätigen.

3. Wählen Sie mit den Tasten SKIP+/- eine Menüoption aus und bestätigen Sie durch Drücken der Taste ENTER.

• <Forced mono>

• <Stereo allowed>

SYSTEM-EINSTELLUNG

Drücken Sie im FM-Modus die Taste MENU für ca. 1 Sekunde und wählen Sie mit

den Tasten SKIP+/- den Menüpunkt <System> aus. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl

mit ENTER. Folgende Menüoptionen stehen durch Drücken der Tasten SKIP+/- zur Auswahl:

• <Sleep> Schlafen

• <Alarm> Alarm

• <Time> Zeit

• <Backlight> Displaybeleuchtung

• <Language> Sprache

• <Factory Reset> Werkseinstellung

• <SW Version> Software-Version

Schlummerfunktion (sleep)

1. Wählen Sie mit den Tasten SKIP +/- die Menüoption <Sleep> aus und bestätigen Sie mit der Taste ENTER.

2. Drücken Sie die Tasten SKIP +/- so oft, bis Sie die gewünschte Zeit, zwischen 15-90 Minuten oder AUS, eingestellt haben. Die gewählte Schlummerzeit wird auf dem Radiodisplay in Minuten angezeigt, z. B. S15 und zählt zurück, bis sich das Gerät schließlich ausschaltet.

ALARM

Hinweis:

Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Uhrzeit korrekt eingestellt ist.

1. Wählen Sie mit den Tasten SKIP +/- die Menüoption <Alarm> aus und bestätigen Sie mit ENTER. Wählen Sie nun mit den Tasten SKIP +/- den gewünschten Alarm aus:

•[Alarm 2 Setup]

2. Drücken Sie ENTER, um den Alarm Wizard aufzurufen.

Koppeln (Pairing)

1. Drücken Sie die Taste MODE bis im Display <Bluetooth®> angezeigt wird. Das Gerät

beﬁndet sich nun im Bluetooth®-Modus.

2. Schalten Sie Bluetooth® an Ihrem Wiedergabegerät ein. Machen Sie am

Wiedergabegerät ggf. einen Suchlauf nach Bluetooth®-Geräten. Koppeln Sie Ihr Wiedergabegerät mit ORC 230/ CD101. Die Geräte sind nun miteinander verbunden und es ertönt „Bluetooth® connected successfully” (Bluetooth erfolgreich verbunden).

3. Zum Beenden der Bluetooth®-Verbindung:

• „Bluetooth®”-Funktion am Wiedergabegerät ausschalten oder mit einem langen

Tastendruck auf MODE. Es ertönt„ Bluetooth® disconnected“ (Bluetooth® ausgeschaltet).

• Wechseln Sie den Betriebsmodus.

1. Starten Sie die Musikwiedergabe am Wiedergabegerät oder am Produkt durch

You can store a maximum of 20 DAB / DAB + stations.

1. Select the desired station.

2. Press and hold the PRESET button for 1 second. Preset Store is shown in display.

Press the SKIP -/+ buttons to select the desired program memory location. Press the ENTER button to save the current radio station in the selected program memory location.

3. Repeat steps 1 to 2 to store additional DAB/DAB+ stations.

Note: If a DAB station is already preset, it will be overwritten when you save a new station.

SELECTING PRESET DAB STATIONS

1. Once you have saved your radio stations as desired, you can call them up by brieﬂy pressing the PRESET button, selecting with the SKIP -/+ buttons and conﬁrming by pressing the ENTER button.

USING THE DAB/DAB+ MENUS

In DAB mode, press the MENU button so that [Full scan] is shown in display and then use SKIP+/- buttons to scroll through the menu options. Conﬁrm the selection with

ENTER.

• <Full scan>

Searches for all available DAB/DAB+ stations.

• <DRC>

Dynamic Range Control setting boosts the volume of quieter sounds in a noisy environments. O/low/high

• <System>

FM RADIO MODE

Tuning

1. Select radio mode. Press SCAN button to search the whole frequency band.

Press the SKIP-/+ buttons for approx. 1 second to search for stations one after the other. If a station is received, the search stops. To continue searching, press the SKIP-/+ buttons again for approx. 1 second.

2. For ﬁne tuning, press the SKIP-/+ button shortly to change the frequency in steps of ± 0.05 MHz.

Memory preset

20 radio stations can be preset to program list.

1. Select radio mode. Set a station by tuning according to chapter Tuning.

2. Press the PRESET button for 1 second to start the presetting process. Display will show Preset Store / Progr.speichern.

3. Press the SKIP -/+ button to select the desired preset station number.

4. Press the ENTER button to saved the actual station to the desired preset station number.

5. Once all stations are preset, you can select them by quickly pressing the

PRESET button, choosing the station with SKIP+/- buttons and conﬁrming selection by pressing the ENTER button.

Sleep function

1. Use the SKIP +/- buttons to select the <Sleep> menu option and conﬁrm with the

ENTER button.

2. Press the SKIP +/- buttons repeatedly until you have set the desired time, between 15-90 minutes or OFF. The selected sleep time is shown on the radio display in minutes, e.g. S15, and counts down until the device ﬁnally turns o.

ALARM

Note:

Make sure the time is set correctly.

1. Use the SKIP +/- buttons to select the <Alarm> menu option and conﬁrm with

ENTER. Now use the SKIP +/- buttons to select the desired alarm:

•[Alarm 1 Setup]

•[Alarm 2 Setup]

2. Press ENTER to open the Alarm Wizard.

3. On Time: alarm on time. Set the hours and minutes with SKIP +/- and conﬁrm with

ENTER.

4. Set the alarm duration [Duration] with SKIP +/- and conﬁrm with ENTER.

•[10]: The alarm sounds for 10 minutes.

•[20]: The alarm sounds for 20 minutes.

•[30]: The alarm sounds for 30 minutes.

•[40]: The alarm sounds for 40 minutes.

•[50]: The alarm sounds for 50 minutes.

•[60]: The alarm sounds for 60 minutes.

5. Set the alarm sound [Source] with SKIP +/- and conﬁrm with ENTER.

•[Buzzer] Select the buzzer as the alarm tone.

•[DAB] Select the last played DAB + radio station as the alarm sound.

•[FM] Select the last played FM radio station as the alarm sound.

6. Set the alarm schedule with SKIP +/- and conﬁrm with ENTER.

•[Daily] The alarm is activated daily.

•[Weekends] The alarm is activated on Saturdays and Sundays.

•[Weekdays] The alarm is activated from Monday to Friday.

•[Once] [DD-MM-YYYY] (set date) The alarm is activated only once. The date must

be speciﬁed.

Note:

When [DAB] or [FM] is selected, [last listened] is displayed. Press ENTER to conﬁrm.

7. The volume bar is displayed. Set the volume with SKIP +/- and conﬁrm with ENTER.

8. Use SKIP +/- to set the alarm on/o [Alarm on/Alarm o] and conﬁrm with ENTER.

9. The alarm setting is saved and [Alarm saved] is displayed.

Alarm repeat

When the alarm sounds, press ENTER to activate the 10 minute snooze function.

Turn o the alarm sound

When the alarm sounds, press and hold the ENTER key and the alarm turns o.

Setting the time

1. Use the SKIP +/- buttons to select the <Time> menu option and conﬁrm with

ENTER.

2. Use the SKIP +/- buttons to select the desired sub menu:

•<Set Time/Date> manual time and date setting

•<Auto update> Selection between DAB Update, FM Update, Any Update or No

Update

•<Set 12/24 hour> Selection between 12/24 hour format

•<Set date format> Selection between DD-MM-YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY

Display lighting (backlight)

1. Use the SKIP +/- buttons to select the <System> menu option and conﬁrm with the

ENTER key.

2. Select the following options with the SKIP +/- buttons and press the ENTER button to conﬁrm the entry and to return to the menu for display lighting.

Displaying the software version (SW version) Use the SKIP +/- buttons to select the <SW version> menu option and conﬁrm with

ENTER. The software version of the product is displayed.

CD MODE

Press on/o button to turn on the product. Press function button until CD is shown in display.

Open the CD compartment door and insert a CD with the label facing up.

Close the CD compartment door.

Note: If no CD is inserted, the display shows

"No Disk"

CD PLAYBACK

1. Start or pause playback: Press . In pause mode the played time is shown in display.

2. Stop playback: Press /MENU/INFO. In stop mode, total number of tracks will appear on the display.

3. Skip to next track: Press SKIP+ . Press and hold to fast forward.

4. Skip to previous track: Press SKIP– . Press and hold to fast reverse.

5. During playback, press MODE repeatedly to switch the playback modes as follows:

4. Store selected track into the program memory: Press MODE again. P02 will now ﬂashing on the display.

5. Repeat step 3 and 4 to program additional tracks.

6. After programming all the desired tracks, press to start program playback. P01 appears on the display.

7. Stop playback: Press 1x .

8. Cancel program playback: Press 2x . PROG disappears from the display.

AUXILIARY (AUX) PLAYBACK

Warning!

Observe the relevant safety information for use with other devices when connecting an external device.

Press on/o button to turn on the product.

Connect auxiliary device to the LINE IN socket using 3.5 mm jack audio cable (not included).

If an auxiliary device is connected, all playback functions of this device need to be used.

BLUETOOTH®

In this mode you can use the radio as a loudspeaker for an external playback source (e.g. cell phone or MP3 player). The signal transmission is wireless via Bluetooth®.

Note:

Before playback, you must pair the radio (in this case the Bluetooth® receiver) and the device (transmitter).

Compatibility

The product is compatible with Bluetooth®-enabled mobile phones and music players. It has Bluetooth® version 4.2. The product also works with devices that have other Bluetooth® versions, e.g.

Pairing

1. Press the function button [MODE] until the display shows <Bluetooth®>. The device

is now in Bluetooth® mode.

2. Switch on Bluetooth® on your playback device. If necessary, search for Bluetooth®

devices on the playback device. Pair your playback device with ORC 230/ CD101. The devices are now connected to each other and you will hear “Bluetooth connected successfully”.

3. To end the Bluetooth® connection:

• Switch o the "Bluetooth" function on the playback device or with a long press

on MODE button. You will hear “Bluetooth disconnected”.

• Change the function at the product.

Bluetooth®-Playback

1. Start music playback on the playback device or on the product by pressing the

button.

2. Brieﬂy press the SKIP +/- buttons to jump forward or backward through a track.

3. Use the VOL +/- buttons to adjust the volume.

CLEANING AND CARE

• WARNING! Before cleaning, always switch o the product and disconnect the plug

from power.

• Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.

• Clean the product with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Make sure that no moisture is

entering the product during cleaning.

CD MAINTENANCE

• Small amount of dust or scratches will usually not have an impact on the quality of a disc. The discs should, however, be treated with care.

• Protect your compact discs from dust and scratches.

• Store your compact discs in their covers when not in use.

• To maintain the original quality of sound, you should occasionally wipe

your compact discs with a soft cloth, from the centre to the edge (not with circular movements). Never use gasoline or other solvents for cleaning.

• Only hold a compact disc by its edges!
