Congratulations on your purchase of the icListen Smart Hydrophone. This Quick Start Guide will introduce
you to the eight contents of the case and take you through the basic steps of setting up your
icListen Smart Hydrophone for the first time.

Step 1: Connect power cord (6)
to power adapter (4) and plug

into the wall.

Step 2: Plug test cable into icListen. (Fully
lubricate the connector with the supplied
Molykote M44) (8). For videos on how to
lubricate properly, please visit macartney.com/support

Step 5: Plug USB drive into PC and install
Lucy Software.

Step 6: Run Lucy Software to locate & connect
to your icListen. (Open Lucy and click icListen
in the bottom right corner)

Step 3: Connect power adaptor to test cable
(small black connectors) You will hear a single
buzz, and then 10-30 seconds later you will
hear a double buzz, which means it’s ready.

Step 4: Plug test cable (black Ethernet) into
PC until it clicks.
Step 7: Select the Link Setup Tab at the top then
select Ethernet and click Find All Units. Double
click your unit when it appears, to connect.
Step 8: Open Webserver.
