Operation Manual
This product is a splash water proof earphone and standardized as IPX4. Do not place the product into water. Be sure the cove r for the Micro U SB Charge socket is closed when you use the earphone outdoors or in places where water drops may fall on it. With the Micro USB cover open, do not use it near water.
Thank you for purchasing this product. To use this product safely, read and understand this operation manual thoroughly before using it. Afte r reading this manual, keep it in a saf e place so that it can be used when necessary.
Safety precautions
The infor mation you need to prev ent danger to the user an d other people as well a s property damage is described below. “Description of signs” shows dierent categories of the degree of danger or d amage that may occur due to wr ong handling. “Des cription of symbo ls” shows the meaning of the symbols.

The lightning ash is intended to aler t the user to the presence of dangerous voltage within the product's enclosure, and touching the internal components may result in a risk of electric shock to persons.

 What to do in the case of an abnormality
•Stop using the device immediately in case of an abnormality or failure.
•Remove the USB cable immediately when water or any foreign object enters the
interior of the device. It may cause a re or electric shock . Remove the USB cable immediately, and contact your dealer for a repair.
 Usage
Do not use this product while driving for trac safety.
•Do not use the product while riding a bicycle or driving a car or motorbike. Surrounding sounds may not be heard clearly, which may cause a trac accident.
•Besides during driving, do not use the product in places where when surrounding sounds cannot be heard may cause danger, such as railroad crossings, station platforms, roadways, or construction sites.
Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the product.
•Doing so may cause a fault. Contact your dealer for a repair.
Do not leave in places within the reach of small children.
•Small children might swallow ear pieces by mistake and cause injury.
Do not expose the product to a strong shock such as dropping or stepping on the product.
•Doing so may cause a fault.
Do not raise the volume too high.
•Listening at ear-splitting volume for a long time may aect your hearing.
When using the product while walk ing, turn down the volume until surrounding sounds can be heard clearly.
•Otherwise, it may cause a trac accident.
Notes on usage
 About handling
•If you feel unwell while using the product, stop using it immediately.
•Do not place the produc t either in wet, humid, dusty smok y, steamy places, near a heater,
or in direct sunlight.
•Do not leave the product where it gets extremely hot such as in a car.
•Do n ot spray insec ticide or any volatil e material. Also d o not keep the produ ct touched wi th rubber
or plastic s for a long time. The p roduct may becom e discolored or its p ainting may come o.
 About static electricity precautions
When weari ng the earphone , you may feel the soun d and stimulus caus ed by static ele ctricity. In dry-weather seasons or places where static electricity likely occurs, you can reduce it by avoiding wearing clothes of chemical ber, or using an antistatic ring.
 About maintenance
•Wipe with a dry, soft cloth.
•If the ear piece gets dirty, take it o from the earphone and wash it with diluted neutral
detergent by hand.

•Never use alcohol, paint thinner or benzine to clean this product. Doing so may cause the product's surface deteriorate.
 Rechargeable battery (Lithium polymer ion)
To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or product damage,
•Do not att empt to replace the b attery by your self, it is built-in an d is not changeabl e.
•Do not heat, disassemble, or short-circuit the battery. Doing so may cause the
batter y and power supply to generate heat, rupture, or ignite.
• Charge the battery only in an ambient temperature between 5 and 35 degrees Celsius. O therwise, the electrolyte solution might leak, battery performance might deteriorate and the battery life might be shor tened.
• Do not continue charging the battery if it does not reach full charge within the specied charging time. Overcharging may cause the battery to become hot, rupture, or ignite.
•
Do not exp ose the batter y to excessive heat su ch as under the sun or n ear the re or the like .
Overheat, leakage, or rupture may occur, resulting in burns or injur y. If you touch the batter y uid, rinse it o with water and consult with the doctor. If the batter y uid spills over the device, wipe it o without touching the uid.
If you leave the unit unused for a long period of time, the built-in rechargeable bat tery will be in an over discharge state due to self discharge, and the charging capacity may deteriorate or the bat tery may be no longer recharg eable. Even if you are not using the unit, charge the battery once or twice a year for 3 hours each time.

10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufac turer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when movin g the cart/appar atus combination to avoid inj ury from tip- over.

 About water resistance
To use this unit,
•Do not place the unit into hot or cold water.
•Do not pour large amounts of water onto the unit.
•Do not spray with water intensely.
•Do not place the unit into hot or cold water with soap, detergent, or bath agent.
•Be sur e the cover for the Micr o USB charge socket is c losed rmly whe n you use the unit.
The rubber seal of the cover is made for water resistance. Do not let the rubber seal become di rty or scratche d. If any foreign objec ts are attache d to the rubber seal, wi pe it with a clean dry cloth in a dry place.
•Do not open or close the cove r for the Micro USB charge socket in a location where it will be subject to water or high humidity.
•If the unit falls into water or is covered with large amounts of raindrops or water, use a dry cloth to wipe it immediately.
Open and close the cover for the Micro USB charge socket with dry hands in a dry place after the water has been wiped o suciently from the unit.
•Water may remain w ithin the unit af ter it has been wet . Shake the water o the un it lightly and wipe the unit.
If water remains within the unit and the unit is carried around, your clothes, oor, or bed may become wet due to water dropped from the unit.
The degree of protection against water for this unit is equivalent to IPX4 (IP code). IPX4 means the p roduct wil l not be harmful ly eecte d by droplets f rom any direct ion. Toshiba shall no t be responsible f or any damage caused by w ater entering the uni t due to incorrect handling and it will not be covered by the warranty even if the warranty period is still in eect.
About Using Bluetooth®
This product is designed for use with Bluetooth® wireless devices compatible with the HFP, HSP, A2DP and AVRCP streaming audio proles. Refer to your Bluetooth® device’s user manual or technical support to determine if your Bluetooth® device supports these proles.
 Frequency band used
This product uses the 2.4 GHz frequency band. However other wireless devices may use 2.4 GHz frequency band as well and may cause interference with each other. To avoid interference, please refrain from the use of the unit at the same time with other wireless devices.
 Certication of this device
This product conforms to frequency restrictions and has received certication based on frequency laws, so a wireless permit is not necessary. However, the following action is punishable by law in some countries:
•Taking apart/modifying the product.
 Usage restrictions
•Wireless transmission and/or use with all Bluetooth® equipped devices is not guaranteed.
•A device fea turing the Blue tooth® functio n is required to con form to the Blueto oth® standard
specied by Bluetooth SIG, and be authenticated. Even if the connected device conforms to the above mentioned Bluetooth® standard, some devices may not be connec ted or work correctly, depending on the features or specications of the device.
 Range of use
Use this product with a device within an unobstructed 10 m range. The range of use or perimeter may be shortened depending on any obstructions, devices causing interference, other people in the room, or the construction of the building. Please note that the range mentioned above is not guaranteed.

•This product may receive radio interference caused by mobile telephones during use. If such interference occurs, please increase separation between this product and the mobile telephone.
Getting Started
This produ ct has a built-in lithium p olymer ion rechargeable bat tery. Before use, fully charge the battery by connecting the product to a computer or a universal USB mobile charger through the provided USB cable. The red indicator turns on while the battery is charging. The red indicator will turn o when the battery is fully charged (around 1-2 hours).
Wearing the Earphone
Check the left and right, wear the ear piece in your ears.
•The one marked with “R ” is for the right ear, and the one marked with “L” is for the lef t ear.
•After use, take them o from your ears slowly.
Caution
•Pressing the product strongly or taking them o from your ears roughly may hurt your eardrum. Put on or take o the product slowly.

Replacing Ear Pieces
•If the ear pieces are not t in your ears, bass tone may not be heard clearly. To enjoy better sounds, replace the ear piece sizes or adjust the position and make them t in your ears.
•At the time of purchase, M size of the ear piece is mounted. If they do not t your ears, choose the best size from the provided ear pieces and replace them.
•The sizes of the ear pieces are S, M (mounted at the time of factory shipment), and L .
 How to take o the ear pieces
Press the earphone with a hand and take o the ear piece with the other hand by twisting it together with its shaft.
Note
•If the ear piece is dicult to take o, wrapping it with a dr y soft cloth makes it easier.
 How to mount ear pieces
Push the ear piece into the protrusion of th e earphone and make sure it does not come o easily.
Note
•The mount position c an be adjusted in two stages to t your ears and play b ass tone better.
Caution
•Mount ear pieces rmly into the product. Ear pieces might come o and be left in your ears. If the ear pieces are left in your ears, contact a doc tor.
Using this Earphone
 Outdoor use/using in places where water drops may fall on
the speaker
Be sure the cover f or the Micro USB Charge s ocket is closed when y ou use the speaker ou tdoors or in places where water drop s may fall on it.
 Listening to Bluetooth® Music
In order to use the product for music playback or speakerphone functions through Bluetooth®, the earphone must rst be paired with the Bluetooth® device.
Pairing:
Press and hold the button to turn the power on.

Following the instructions in your device's user manual, activate

Bluetooth® on your device and search for devices.
Once you have found “RZE- BT600E”, pair with the earphone.
•Input the pass code “0000” if required. Once connected, a connected message are heard.
•The indicator of the earphone will ash blue at 5-seconds interval.
Information:
•When using a device paired with this earphone once, this earphone will pair/connect automatically.
•This earphone will pair with the last connected device when that device is in range.
•The earphone will power o if no device has been paired more than 15 minutes.
•Press and hold the button and the button at the same time. The earphone will go into
pairing mo de, the blue indicator w ill ash, and a disconnec ted message are heard.
•This earphone can be paired/connected with two devices at the same time. To pair with the second dev ice, disconnect t he rst device af ter it is paired and tur n the power o. Turn the power on and pair/connec t the second device. After that, connect the rst device again, and then two devices become connected. Press the play button on either of the device to play its music.
Playing Bluetooth® Music:
Once your dev ice and the earphon e are connected, y ou can listen to music thr ough Bluetooth®.
Press the button either on your device or this earphone to play or

pause music.
Use the / buttons on this earphone to adjust the volume level.

•Press and hold the button during playback or while paused to skip the track for ward.
•Press and hold the button during playback to play from the beginning of the track .
•Press and hold the button at the beginning of the track to move to the previous track.

 Making calls with a Bluetooth® Mobile Phone
Before the speakerphone feature of this earphone can be used, you will need to pair and connect your Bluetooth®-enabled phone with this earphone.

Answer a call:
To answer a call, press the button.

You can then use this earphone as a speakerphone.
Use the / buttons on this earphone to adjust the call volume.
