The OMX-PSW12 is a high quality 12 x 1 Video and Stereo Audio Passive Switcher. This device is
designed as a general purpose signal switcher for selection of 12 inputs to a single output using top
grade, high visibility lock out mechanical s witches .It may also be used to fit the needs of f acilities where
“signal sniffing” is needed. It may also be used to expand the inputs of Video devices.
The OMX-PSW12 may also be used as a 1 x 12 assignment switcher where one set of signals can be
fed to any of twelve feeds.
The use of this device is very simple. As a source switcher, simply plug the signal feeds via the rear
connectors into the switcher. By pushing the corresponding front panel button, the signal (Video and
Audio), is selected to the output connectors.
The OMX-PSW12 may also be used as an “assignment switcher”. A signal can be fed into the output
terminal and selectively distributed to any one the twelve signal paths. With this technique, the switcher is actually used in “reverse” of conventional configuration.
