VarioStream 9230
Black and color-capable digital printing system
As the industry and customer requirements change, your business needs the agility to adapt to change. The Océ VarioStream
Designed to provide offset-class quality, production-class performance, and a lower cost of ownership, the Océ VarioStream 9230 system combines 3/3 color (black plus two colors, double-sided) with breathtaking production speed. And while it is one of the fastest systems on the market for delivering color on demand, the Océ VarioStream 9230 system still maintains full functionality for black & white printing.
Equipped with the Océ Quick Change Color System™, the versatile Océ VarioStream 9230 single-pass, duplex continuous feed printer simultaneously prints 1/1, 2/2, and 3/3 Océ Multi-CustomTone color.
Unique investment protection
The Océ VarioStream 9230 system builds on the momentum of the 2/2 Océ VarioStream 9220, making a migration path to the next level of performance smooth and easy.
Delivering genuine investment protection for your business, the Océ VarioStream 9230 system features Type I connectivity and compatibility with Océ PRISMA

management software to integrate fully into existing environments.
Productivity from start to finish
Built to deliver maximum productivity, the Océ VarioStream 9230 system is a productive, all-in-one machine that supports high-speed duplex printing with 1/1, 2/2, or 3/3 color on demand. You can print multiple shades of black and any two Océ CustomTone® colors on both sides of a page, applying different colors on each side. A unique color blending process lets you create the impression of more color beyond the basic 3/3 colors. Automatic paper feeding minimizes handling and operator intervention, while Auto Data Resolution enables you to process varying resolutions (240/300/600 dpi) in different sections of a page for a new level of production-class performance.
sure it matches. If the toner in the bottle does not match or cannot be identified, it cannot be loaded. This prevents operators from printing jobs with the wrong color or MICR jobs with non-MICR toner and helps prevent damage to the developer stations.
High quality and flexibility
When it comes to high-speed printing of color on demand, flexibility is designed in. Simultaneous non-contact imaging of front and back pages and infrared, non-contact fusing in a single pass combine to deliver exceptional registration accuracy and the highest possible quality. In addition, the Océ VarioStream 9230 system supports paper weights from 10 lb. bond to 132 lb. index, oversized paper, and print widths from
6.5" to 19". As a result, you can take on more jobs and enter new markets. Just a few of the benefits of color on demand.
Océ TonerSafe technology
With Océ TonerSafe™ technology, changing toner bottles is not only quick and easy, it’s also secure. Whenever an operator inserts a new toner bottle into the printer, the system
