Mount the camera
These cameras can be mounted on a wall or ceiling that has sucient strengt h to support it. The video /
power drop cable f rom the camera can be routed either through mounting surface or through a cable guide
on the edge of the mounting base.
1. Unscrew the be zel from the mounting base, and then lift it o of t he camera.

3. Using the mounting template or the mounting base, mark the holes for the camera mounting
screws.
4. Drill holes for the screws that anchor the base to the mounting surface. T he mounting hardware
provided is appro priate for most surfaces. However, depending on the surface material and streng th,
more appropriate fasteners may be required.
5. Drill a 3/4” hole through the mounting sur face for the drop cable, if nece ssary.
6. If using wall inserts for the mounting sc rews, install the wall insert s at this time.
7. Attach the mounting base the surface using the appropriate f asteners. If the camera dro p cable will
route through a cable guide, lay the cable in the guide before tightening the mounting screws.
