A. Safety Instructions
When you want to install and use this filter pump, please
follow the following precautions:
1) WARNING ! Before starting, check all pipes and accessories for correct installation and reliable connection.
2) WARNING ! Do not bury the electric cords. Place the
cords where lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and other
equipment will not damage them.
3) WARNING ! Prevent children from using this filter pump
without an adult's supervision.
4) WARNING ! To avoid the risk of electric shock, always
be aware of damaged cords and have it repaired by a
qualified electrician.
5) WARNING ! Do not use this filter pump when pool is
empty. This pump is designed only for dismountable storable pools above the ground, not for permanently installed
pools. Improper use may lead to overheating and will
burn out the motor and damage it.
6) WARNING ! The power cord of this pump cannot be
replaced. If the cord is damaged and cannot be repaired,
the pump should be disposed of.
7) WARNING ! To avoid the risk of electric shock, connect
the filter pump only to a receptacle protected by a groundfault circuit interrupter (GFCI). Contact a qualified electrician if you cannot verify that the receptacle is GFCI
protected. Use a qualified electrician to install the GFCI.
Do not use a leakage protection receptacle.
8) WARNING! The filter pump must not be used when people
are in the water
9) WARNING! The pump must be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA
10)WARNING! The maximum total head in 2 meters
B. Installation Instructions
Please refer to the diagram 3-1 in page 3.
1) Before starting to install filter pump, be sure to assemble
the pool frame first according to the pool's installation
instructions step by step and fill it to the required water
level.
2) Remove the filter pump and accessories from the packaging.
3) Put the filter pump at a proper position. Ensure that the
filter pump is stable during its use and the highest point
of the upper cover of filter pump shall be at least 150mm
below the pool surface. (Note: there are four mounting
holes in the pump base. If filter pump needs to be mounted
on a stationary plane, you can fasten the pump with
screws.)
4) Take two hoses and hose bundles to connect them to the
inlet and outlet of filter pump.
5) Turn the air release valve on filter cover to "CLOSE" position and then place the other end of the hose connecting the outlet (grey) of filter pump into the pool.
6) Connect the other end of the hose connecting the inlet
(white) of filter pump and the hose bundle to the lower
hose joint of the pool (but hose bundle cannot be tight-
ened). Then, open the water plug of lower hose joint,
insert filter screen and finally tighten the hose bundle.
7) Take the other end of the hose connecting the outlet (grey)
of filter pump out of the pool and connect it and the hose
bundle to the upper hose joint of the pool (but hose bundle
cannot be tightened). Then, open the water plug of upper hose joint, insert filter screen and finally tighten the
hose bundle.
C. Operation
1) Make sure that the pool is already filled with water and
the filter pump is placed at a suitable position.
2) Turn the Air Release Valve 1 to "OPEN" position.
3) Turn the Air Release Valve to "CLOSE" position when
water starts to flow from the drain port of air release
valve (please refer to the diagram 3-2 in Page 3).
4) Connect the power cord to the electric outlet to operate
the pump.
5) After water filtering, unplug the filter pump from the electric outlet. Then, the filter pump stops working.
Precautions:
1) Empty the air in the pump with the air release valve before turning on the pump.
2) Do not use the pump more than 48 hours continuously
and ensure that the motor is fully cooled before next use.
3) Do not use the pump without water.
4) Please clean or change dirty filter cartridge timely, or it
will affect the water pumping, which may cause the motor to overheat, become noisy or even be damaged.
5) Please clean the filter cartridge after 84 hours continuous
use. If the filter pump has decreasing flow and increasing noise after several times of cleaning, then it must be
replaced by a new cartridge.
D. Maintenance and Replacement
Please refer to the diagrams 3-1 and 3-2 in page 3.
1) Make sure that the power cord of filter pump is disconnected from the electric outlet.
2) Loosen the two hose bundles connected to the pool wall
with screwdriver, take out two filter screens and plug
the water plugs on two joints.
3) Turn the Cover 2 on the filter anticlockwise and remove
Upper Cover Group (including Air Release Valve 1 and
Upper Cover 2), O-ring 3 and Filter Cartridge 4in turn.
4) Check the filter cartridge body of the Filter Housing 7 for
dirt or sediment. If any, flush it.
5) Mount the new or cleaned filter cartridge into the Filter
Housing 7.
6) Mount O-ring 3 and Upper Cover Group onto the filter
pump in turn.
7) Turn the Cover 3 in a clockwise direction and ensure that,
after tightening, the filter pump does not leak during normal work.
8) Turn the Air Release Valve 1 to "CLOSE" position.
9) Pull out the water plugs of the two hose joints on the pool
wall, insert the filter screens and finally tighten the two
hose bundles with screwdriver.
