Nevertheless we advise you not to leave the product exposed to bright sunlight for any length of time. No claims may be made for wear and tear or if the colours fade when exposed to strong sunlight. The fabric cover on the car seat is washable. The covers can be washed by hand or on a cold cycle in the washing machine (mild detergent).

NB:
- The safety of the baby seat is only guaranteed by the manufacturer when the seat is used by the initial purchaser. It is therefore not advisable to buy a second-hand seat.
- The baby car seat is no longer fit for use five years after purchase. It is possible, under certain circumstances, for the quality of the seat to be imperceptibly affected if subject to very frequent usage.

CAUTION:
- The baby seat is only for use in car seats which face the direction of travel.
- Fold-down car seats must be firmly clicked into place.
- If the baby seat is fitted to the passenger seat then the passenger seat must be pushed back as far as it will go.
- The baby seat may not be used on car seats which are fitted with an airbag. It might be possible to disable the airbag (ask your car dealer).
- The backrest of the passenger seat must be fully upright. If there is a head restraint fitted to the seat, it must be put into the lowest position.
- The baby seat must not be caught in the car door or in fold-down seats; no heavy objects may be placed on the baby seat.
- Never hold your baby on your lap when travelling in the car. The sheer force released in an accident will prevent you from holding on to your baby.
- Never put the seat belt around yourself and the baby.
- No modifications may be made to the baby seat and the straps.
- Make sure that the seat belt in the car is not damaged and is fully functional.
- All the straps designed to restrain the baby in the seat must be tightened. The straps holding the baby must be taut. Make sure that these straps are not twisted.
- Never leave your baby in the baby seat for too long. Although the baby seat is extremely comfortable it is important for your baby to have regular periods lying on its stomach. This is in the interests of healthy development.
- When not in use, the baby seat should not be left in the blazing sun, the residual heat from which might later cause unnecessary discomfort to your baby.
- Do not neglect to use the baby seat on short journeys. These actually account for the majority of accidents.
- Never leave your child alone in the baby seat in the car.
- Set a good example and fasten your seat belt at all times.
- Never allow your baby to play with the seat belt fastening.
- Take short breaks on relatively long journeys so that your baby has the opportunity to spend some time outside the vehicle to recover from the strain of travelling.
