Oatey sells only Lo-VOC solvent cements, which means theyare compliant with the South
Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule 1168 and the Ozone Transport
Commission (OTC) standards. Plus they meet ASTM, NSF and UPC standards for a wide
variety of applications, including potable water, DWV, industrial, pool/spa, turf/irrigation,

Blue Lava Hot PVC Cement

The HOTTEST PVC cement in the industry

Maximize your productivity in all weather climates. Blue Lava Hot PVC Cement
can handle any job, from irrigation and agriculture to pool and spa and is perfect
for damp or humid conditions.

• Fast – sets up 25-50% faster than other “hot” cements on the market.

• Hot – quickly melts pipe surface to weld the joint. Priming step not necessary

where local codes permit.

• Thick – Blue Lava is two to five times thicker than other “hot” cements, which

means it clings to the pipe surface better, and doesn’t end up on the floor.

Systems can be hydrostatically tested up to 75 PSI after 15 minutes, and up to 180 PSI
after 30 minutes (at temperatures above 60°F and up to 2" pipe diameter).

Orange Lava Hot CPVC Cut-In Cement is perfect for any repair job
that requires minimal downtime for existing plumbing systems. With
the lowest set-up and cure times in the industry, Orange Lava also
has the highest concentration of THF.

• Fast – Fast – bond strength of up to 250 PSI in just 10 minutes in

lab conditions –so fast it eliminates the need for bracing.

• Hot – quickly melts pipe surface to weld the joint. Priming step not

necessary where local codes permit.

• Thick – Orange Lava is two to five times thicker than other “hot”

cements, which means you get more cement on the pipe, and less
on the floor.
