Welcome to OASE Living Water. You made a good choice with the purchase of this product Underwater Power Sup­ply 250.
Prior to commissioning the unit, please read the instructions of use carefully and fully familiarise yourself with the unit. Ensure that all work on and with this unit is only carried out in accordance with these instructions.
Adhere to the safety information for the correct and safe use of the unit. Keep these instructions in a safe place! Please also hand over the instructions when passing the unit on to a new
owner.

Product Description
Underwater Power Supply 250 is a controlled switching power pack and serves as a voltage supply for consumers with a rated voltage of 24 V DC. A maximum of 80 Watt (Class2) may be applied to each output, max. 240 Watt total capacity.
Important safety instructions
When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be practiced including the following:

standards, including fire-rated construction.
This unit can be used underwater. Do not electrical connect the unit within 10 f (3 m) of the pool. Do not use in a bathroom.
WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. When used outdoors, install only to a covered Class A GFCI protected receptacle that is weatherproof with the power unit connected to the receptacle. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electri­cian for proper installation. Ensure that the power unit and cord do not interfere with completely closing the receptacle cover.
WARNING: Risk of Fire. Installation involves special wiring methods to run wiring through building structure. Consult a qualified electrician.
WARNING: This unit is not for use with swimming pools or similar appliances were persons are in contact with water. Save these instructions — This manual contains important safety and operating instructions for power units.

Intended use
Underwater Power Supply 250, referred to in the following as "unit", may only be used as specified in the following: For use above and under water.
– Only use in conjunction with units intended by OASE for this purpose.
Operation under observance of the technical data.
Use other than that intended
This unit can be dangerous and cause harm to persons if not used in accordance with these instructions. Any use not in accordance with these instructions or modification(s) to the unit will void the limited warranty.
Installation and connection
Attention! Dangerous electrical voltage. Possible consequences: Death or severe injury. Protective measures:
Electrical units and installations with a rated voltage of U > 12 V AC or U >30 V DC located in the water:
Isolate the units and installations (switch off and disconnect from the power supply) before reaching into the water.
Isolate the unit before starting any work. Secure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
Set-up the unit
The unit can be submerged in water or set up in a dry location, but must always be protected from direct sunlight.
How to proceed: A
1. Place the unit on a firm base. – If the unit is installed outside the water: Ensure that there is a safety distance of at least 1 ft (30 cm) from com-
bustible material.
2. Bolt the unit to the base.
Connect the unit
Note!
Never connect or disconnect the plugs and sockets of the connection cables when they are under load! This could damage the contacts.
First isolate the unit (switch off and disconnect from the power supply), then start work on the unit.
Note!
Max. 80 Watt per output. Max. 240 Watt total. Do not exceed the max. connected load. ( Technical data) Adhere to the max. cable length per output ( Technical data) Only connect cables from OASE to the outputs. Close off any unused slots with blind plugs and rubber seals.
How to proceed: B
1. Remove the protection cap from the unit.
2. Fit the connector of the connection cable and secure with the two screws (max. 2.0 Nm). – Ensure that the rubber seal is clean and fits exactly. – Replace the rubber seal if damaged.
3. Connect further connection cables in the same way.
4. Connect the unit to the mains voltage.
5. Check that the connected consumers are functioning faultlessly.

OASE 24 V DC/01 connection cable 3.28 ft (1.0 m), 9.84 ft (3.0 m), 24.60 ft (7.5 m), 49.21 ft (15.0 m).

Repair
Repair is not possible in the following cases. The class 2 power supply has to be replaced. If there is no replacement part approved by OASE for a defective component.
Maintenance and cleaning

Cleaning the unit
If necessary, clean the unit with clear water using a soft brush.
Unit maintenance
The unit requires regular maintenance. Carry out the work according to the maintenance schedule.
Secure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
Only allow the maintenance work to be carried out by trained personnel who are qualified for these activities due to
their technical training, knowledge and experience.
Storage/Over-wintering
In case of extreme frost or ice loading, deinstall the unit( Technical data). Thoroughly clean and check the unit for damage.
