USER MANUAL - FLUORO EXTENDER

PRODUCT USE

The OakwO rks® Fluoro Extender is radiolucent and offers extra width only
where you need it to achieve greater positioning accuracy for optimum imaging.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

DO NOT place undue weight or downward pressure. It is a positioning
device for the arms or legs and should not be used as leverage to get on
or off the table. Injury can occur.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Slide the Fluoro Extender under the table top pad.

Ask the patient to lie down on the table. Position the patient to suit the
needs of the procedure. The weight of the patient will hold the Fluoro
Extender in place under the table top pad.

When nished, ask the patient to rise up enough for you to remove the

CLEANING & DISINFECTION

Use appropriate sterilized eld materials to isolate the patient from the Fluoro Extender. This also minimizes clean­ing and disinfecting procedures Use a 10% sodium hypochlorite (bleach) solution or Recommended Disinfectants on all
surfaces. Clean all sides of the extender. Follow the directions on the disinfectant and wipe off excess.

Protex, MadaCide, Accell TB, Virox

Note: Damage caused by unapproved substances will not be covered under the warranty.
