Pi Network. Low Pass Pi Network tuning 1.8 to 30MHz. Heavy duty, silver-plated continuously
variable inductor with 25:1 vernier dial, 7000-volt variable capacitor and 15,000V switch selected
fixed capacitors on output side. Tunes 40 to 2000 ohm antennas. Also provides harmonic
suppression.
Automatic SWR, Hands free metering of SWR. No reset or calibration needed. Separate Power
meter-300 or 3000 watts - automatically switched. Easy to read 2 1/2'' recessed, backlighted
meters show SWR and power continuously. Precision Jewel meters.
Antenna Switch. PUSH-BUTTON antenna switching to 4 antennas (2 coax, single wire and twin
lead). Tuner bypass on first coax output. We designed this rugged switch to handle the power
with heavy silver-plated contacts.
3KW Balun. Trifilar-wound, triple core torroid gives balanced output to twin feeders from 200 to
1000 ohms and unbalanced output down to 20 ohms.

Load: Any antenna 1/4 wave length or longer between 40 to 2000 ohms. Includes 3 KW Balun
for balanced loads between 200 to 1000 ohms (or unbalanced loads down to 20 ohms). Balun is
trifilar wound triple core toroid.
Power: 3000 Watts
Meters: Separate, recessed, 2-1/2" Automatic SWR Meter and Forward reading RMS Wattmeter
with automatic switching from 300-watt to 3000-watt scale. Meter circuit is battery operated with
automatic RF switch to preserve battery. Meters have backlighting lamps. (Requires external 12V
supply).

Shielding: Extra heavy gauge aluminum cabinet provides effective shielding.
Front Controls: Low pass Pi Network tuning uses continuously variable silver-plated, copper
ribbon inductor w/a 25:1 vernier dial. Input capacitance is fixed. Output is split stator variable
capacitor rated at 7000 volts. 2 1/4" knobs and 4" dials provide easy tuning and logging. Unique
designed PUSH-BUTTON Switch adds capacity as needed from fixed bank of 15000-volt
capacitors.
A rugged 5-position PUSH-BUTTON Antenna switch can select from 2-coax, single wire or twin
lead antenna systems. "A" switch position bypasses tuner to coax "A".
Rear Panel: SO-239 coax connectors for input and output, high voltage coax connectors in output
circuits. Porcelain cone feed-throughs for single wire and twin lead outputs. Automatic switching
from 300 watts to 3000 watts on RMS Watt meter. Battery compartment holds 9-volt battery to
power meter circuits. A phono-jack on the back panel is provided to connect an external 12-volt
power supply for the meter back lighting. Optional 12V supply available.
