Introduction

I.MX6Q processor was developed by NXP, which was based on the Cortex-A9 architectur processor. With a
strong multimedia capabilities, large capacity storage devices, meet the stability and precision characteristics for
the civil, consumer, industrial, automotive electronic, is the current high-end products in the field of embedded
processors.

Based on the characteristics of i.MX6Q processor, CES-i.MX6Q development platform draws out the
processor’s functional interface to demand the different areas, and shows rich resources and powerful processing
capacity, which can be used as the master control module for any intelligent display, wireless communications,
cable connection. CES-i.MX6Q draws out the camera interface, LVDS interface, HDMI interface and VGA interface,
which shows the powerful multimedia performance and achieve amazing effect of user experience. The Platform
supports RS232 and RS485 communication serial ports, SPI, CAN, I2C bus interface and gigabit Ethernet, easily
used in cable, wireless connection, and precise control. In addition, CES - i.MX6Q development platform supports
4G (Full CNC), WIFI、Bluetooth、GPS、Camera modules.

With the stability of the system design, rich peripheral interface, powerful processing performance, open
source code, CES-i.MX6Q development platform can directly applied in consumer electronics, automotive
electronics, industrial control and other different areas, and its high cost performance makes the platform have
high competition in the similar products. To meet the needs of different areas, the core board of CES-i.MX6Q
development platform adopts array board, convenient plug and long cycle. User can cut the system function
according to the specific needs and design a special control module in accordance with their characteristics.
