If the NXG products prove to be defective in workmanship or materials within two years from the date of the original customer’s purchase, we will, at our option, repair or replace the defec­tive products.

Exclusion of Certain Damages
NXG Technology’s liability for any defective product is limited to repair or replacement of prod­uct at our option. NXG T of any kind or character because of product defects. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply.

• Damage caused by abuse, accident, misuse, negligence, or improper operation.
• Any product whose serial number has been altered, defaced, or removed.
• Products that have been altered or modified.
• Normal wear and maintenance.
• Damages caused by shipping. (All claims for shipping damage must be made with the carrier.)
Warranty Service
Warranty service must be performed by an authorized service center, usually an NXG dealer or its authorized agent. All warranty repairs must be accompanied by the original bill of sales. No other document is accept­able or is required. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

FEATURES
• Includes one transmitter and one receiver fitting North American Decora™wall plate sizes.
• The product operates using Dual UTP cable (Cat5E/6) as a substitute to expensive long HDMI cable runs. The RJ45 connections must follow the IEEE-568B standard.
• Transmission distance reaches up to 50 meters (165’) at 1080P
• Automatic feedback, equalization and amplification adjustments
• Signal rates up to 2.25Gbits in support of 1080P

CONNECTING THE NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50
1) Connect the HDMI source output into the HDMI IN on the front plate of the
NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (TX). (TX = Transmitter/ RX = Receiver)
2) Connect two CAT-5E or CAT6 cables to both the outputs of NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (TX)
and inputs of NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (RX). Please pay attention to the correct connection of the two cables, CAT5e/6-1->CAT5e/6-1 (The RJ45 connections must follow EIA/TIA 568B).
3) Connect the HDMI source input into HDMI OUT on the front plate of the
NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (RX).
4) Connect the IR TX UNIT into NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (TX). Permanently affix the TX IR emitter
over the source components IR window by removing the adhesive backing. In order to work properly, the emitter must be placed on the source component IR receiver window.
5) Connect the IR RX UNIT into NX-HDMIX-WP-IR-50 (RX). The RX IR receiver should be
placed in direct line of sight with the handheld remote. Consider affixing the IR receiver on
the TV frame or base. NOTE: In some cases the power adapter could be taken off. The power adapter is needed when the signal source isn’t sufficient enough to drive the HDMI signal. Gently Insert/Extract cables.

MAINTENANCE
When cleaning this unit, use only a dry soft cloth. Never use an alcohol based cleaner, paint thinner or other harsh cleaning chemical. Be careful not to dislodge the TX IR emitter from its permanent position on the Source IR window.
PRODUCT SERVICE
1) Damage requiring service: The unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel if:
(a) The DC power supply cord or AC adaptor has been damaged;
Objects or liquids have damaged the unit;
(b)
(c) The unit has been exposed to rain;
(d) The unit does not operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance;
(e) The unit has been dropped or the cabinet damaged.
2) Do not attempt to service the unit beyond that described in these operating instructions.
Unauthorized service may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards and will void all warranty.
