Computer running either Windows 7 or later or MacOS 10.10 or later.
the NUX Trident.
USB-C data/sync cable (Included).
NUX ACD-006A Power Supply (Included).
Quality USB-C to USB adapter (If your computer only comes with USB-C ports.)

Step by Step Guide
0. Download the firmware update kit & Install the NUX Device Updater.
Download the firmware update kit from the NUX Trident product page.
Unzip the downloaded file to a directory of your choice.
Install the NUX Device Firmware Updater.

1. Connect the NUX Trident to your computer and put it into DFU mode.
Connect the Trident to your Mac or PC using the included USB-C cable.

Run "NUX Device Updater", you will see the following interface:
Press and hold both the UP footswitch and the REVERB footswitch while turning on power,
release both footswitches when you see all the indicators on the NUX Trident turns on. The
prompt message "(No device found)" will change to "NUX - Trident - Device connected. ",
meanwhile the display on Trident shows .
2. Select the new firmware file(.bin) and start upgrading the firmware.
Select the new firmware file, the file name varies depending on the firmware version. However,
the file extension will always be '.bin'.
WARNING:
Please make sure that the selected firmware file is actual for the NUX Trident, Otherwise,
you may brick your pedal or cause it to malfunction.
Do NOT disconnect or power off the NUX Trident during the upgrade.
After the firmware is selected, click "Start Update" to continue.
It takes rouhly 30 minutes to finish, during the process the display on Trident shows
Sit back, relax and have a cup of coffe.
Once the firmware is successfully upgraded, the following alter window should pop out notifying
you that the upgrade is done. Meanwhile, the display on Trident shows .
3. Finish Updating
close the "NUX Device Updater"
Disconnect the USB cable, and turn off the power.
Grap your guitar/bass and try out the new features and tones.
Make sure to also download & install the new version of editor software as Firmware and
editor software are paired to work together.
