CAUTION!
Be certain that the vehicle is outdoors before using this or any re­mote vehicle starting device. A running engine produces dangerous carbon monoxide fumes which can be harmful or fatal if prolonged exposure occurs. DO NOT remote start the vehicle if the car is garaged
REMOTE ST ARTING THE VEHICLE:
1. The vehicle's hood is opened.
2. The gear shift selector is not in Park.
3. The brake pedal is depressed.
1. To start the vehicle, press and release the transmitter button 2 times within 2 seconds. The vehicle will start and remain running for the pre­programmed 5, 10, 15, 20 minute run cycle. As a visual indication, the parking lights will flash or remain on depending on the setting by your installation center.
2. When you arrive at the vehicle, turn the ignition key to the ON position (Do not try to restart the vehicle), then step on the brake pedal to disengage the remote start. The vehicle will continue to run, but now on it's own power.
2 - WA Y TRANSMITTER CONFIRMATION:
The 2-way transmitter confirms the commands sent to the system by illuminating the transmitter button. When the system recieves a command from the 2-way transmitter, a signal is then sent back to the transmitter and the transmitter's button will begin to flash. The number of flashes will indicate the vehicle's status.

SHUTING DOWN THE REMOTE START:
To shut down the remote start feature form the transmitter press and release the transmitter button 2 times within 2 seconds.
UNLOCKING THE VEHICLE (optional):
To unlock the vehicle's doors press and hold the transmitter button for 3 seconds anytime the vehicle is remote started.
Note: Additional parts and/or labor may be necessary, see your installing dealer for details.
VALET MODE:
Valet Mode is used to disable the system from remote starting. To enter or exit valet mode simply follow the 4 steps outlined below:
1. Push and hold the programming/valet button.
2. Cycle the ignition ON/OFF , ON/OFF, ON/OFF.
3. Release the programming/valet button.
TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING:
If the need arises for programming of additional or replacement transmitters, simply follow the 4 steps outlined below:
1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
2. Press and release the programming button 3 times.
3. Press and hold the button of the transmitter you wish to add for 3 seconds. The parking lights will flash indicating the transmitter has been learned.
4. Repeat step 3 for each transmitter up to a total of 4.
Notice : The changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with the FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, no change to the antenna or the device is permitted. Any change to the antenna or the device could result in the device exceeding the RF exposure requirements and void user’s authority to operate the device.
