REMOTE CONTROL QUICK GUIDE
Press 2 times within 3 seconds to activate the Remote Start function.
Red L.E.D. fl ash with every button press to confi rm proper operation and a good battery.
Press for Progressive Car Find x1= 5 Soft Chirps x2= 5 Louder Chirps x3= 5 Full Volume Chirps
Press and hold for Personal Protection Alarm.
During Remote Start operation, press 1 time to activate the Rear Defroster feature.
Caution: Do not rem ote start a veh icle in an enclos ed environment (i. e. closed garag e). Prolo nged operat ion of a motor
vehicle in an enclosed environment can cause a harmful build-up of Carbon Monoxide. Carbon Monoxide is harmful to your health. Exposure to high levels of carbon monoxide can cause headaches, dizziness or in extreme cases unconsc iousne ss and/or d eath. Do n ot leave chil dren or an imals un atten ded in a vehi cle while u sing the r emote start function.

Your Remote Control Transmitter
The remote co ntrol transmitter controls the Remote Start, Rear Defroster, Personal Protection Alarm and Progressive Car Find.
Personal Protection Alarm with RPS (Real Pa nic Sound)

button on your remote control transmitter for 3 seconds to activate the panic feature. The horn and hazard or parking lights will
sound/fl ash in random pulses for 3 0 s econds. Pressing t h e
Progressive Car Find
The remote control car fi nd feature can help locate your vehicle in a dark or crowded parking lot. Pressing the remote control transmitter will chirp the horn 5 times. Subsequent presses of the activate the car fi nd feature again; sounding the horn slight ly louder on the s econd and t hird activatio ns and then at a co nstant sound level (equal to the third acti vat ion).
