Do not dispose of vacuum cleaner into household waste! According to the European
Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its
incorporation into national law. Vacuum cleaners that are no longer suitable for use must be separately collected and
sent for recovery in an enviromental-friendly manner.
Daily:-
Keep the machine clean, including hoses and tubes.
Ensure the dust bag and lter are tted. Regularly examine the charger. Check dust bag frequently. Check the lter is clean.

Check for any worn or damaged parts and replace immediately. Do not steam clean or pressure wash.

You must remove the battery from the machine BEFORE cleaning or maintenance and when replacing parts.

If the vacuum cleaner has a blockage, switch off, remove the battery from the appliance, and inspect
the oor tool, wands and hose for debris. If the oor tool, wands and hose are clear, replace the dust bag and clean the lter.
This machine is equipped with a thermal cut-out to protect the motor and other vital machine parts from overheating.
The vacuum cleaner should be inspected after use for damage.
The size and quality of the dust bag and lters affect the machine efciency. Use of non-original dust bags or non-original lters can cause restricted air ow which may lead to
machine overload.

Important Warnings – Batteries
Read all the warnings before using the battery.
This cleaner uses Numatic Lithium-Ion batteries. Used batteries should be disposed of safely and placed in a sealed plastic bag and then handled according to all locally approved precautions and environmental regulations.
a) Do not dismantle, open or shred secondary cells or batteries.
b) Do not expose cells or batteries to heat or re. Avoid storage in direct sunlight
c) Do not short-circuit a cell or battery. Do not store cells or batteries haphazardly in a box
or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short circuited by other metal objects. d) Do not remove a cell or battery from its original packaging until required for use. e) Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical shock. f) In the event of cell leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
g) Do not use any charger other than that specically provided for use with the equipment.
h) Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) marks on the cell, battery and equipment and ensure correct use. i) Do not use any cell or battery which is not designed for use with the equipment. j) Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or battery has been swallowed. k) Use only original NUMATIC batteries, when replacement batteries are required. l) Keep cells and batteries clean and dry. m) Secondary cells and batteries need to be charged before use. n) Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
o) After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the cells or batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
p) Retain the original product literature for future reference. q) When possible, remove the battery from the equipment when not in use. r) Do not immerse in any liquid. s) Do not charge damaged batteries. t) If the batteries or cells are leaking, return batteries to a disposal plant or a similar local facility. u) The batteries must be removed from the appliance before the appliance is scrapped.

Care and Disposal of Li Ion Batteries
DEFECTIVE BATTERIES
ATTENTION
Please follow all safety guidelines set out.
A defective battery should not be stored inside buildings on any account.
If a customer wishes to return a battery to a supplier, then collection of the battery must be
arranged by the supplier, however, Faulty batteries must not be returned through the postal
system or by courier.
If on return to a supplier, OR at a customer base, a suspected defective battery shows any signs of impact damage, distortion, blistering, loose parts or leakage then on no account should it be offered for condition checking. It must be considered defective and the procedures described followed.
If, on return to a supplier, OR at a customer base, a suspected defective battery, that shows No signs of impact damage, distortion, blistering, loose parts or leakage, may be offered for condition checking with an appropriate battery condition checking device operated by a competent person.
If on checking the battery is found to be operational then a single recharge cycle under observation can be attempted with the appropriate Numatic charger.
If the battery recharges correctly on this single recharge cycle then it can be deemed a good battery.
If the battery fails to recharge correctly on this single recharge cycle then it must be deemed a defective battery and the procedures followed.
On no account must any further attempt to recharge be made.
A defective battery should not be stored inside buildings on any account.
The defective discharged battery can then be stored in a locked battery waste container which should be plastic or plastic lined and placed away from buildings and clearly signed as a defective battery container with appropriate warnings.
The battery is to be disposed of safely and in accordance with all locally approved precautions and environmental regulations.
