Getting started
Getting your VS1503 ready for use
Positioning the base unit
Situate your VS1503 base unit close enough to the telephone and mains power sockets so that the cables will reach. The higher the base unit is located the better.
To avoid interference, position your VS1503 at least 1 metre away from other electrical appliances, e.g. televisions, radios and computers. Avoid bathrooms and other humid areas.
Connecting the mains power to the base unit
Connect the lead from the power adapter to the socket marked
on the back of your VS1503 base, see opposite.
Now plug the other end of the adapter into the mains power supply and switch the power on. The green in use light will flash once and you will hear a confirmation beep.
Use only the mains power adapter supplied. Any other adapter could seriously damage your VS1503 and invalidate your warranty.
Connecting the mains power to the chargers
Plug the power adapters attached to the handset chargers into the mains supply and switch the power on.
