with ENVIROMUX-RLY-SRNMTR
150dB Motor Siren with Relay Kit
Installation Instruction
The ENVIROMUX-SRN-MTR-xxxV Motor Siren (xxx = 110 or 220) is used to deter intruders and alert personnel of alert conditions
when used in conjunction with an ENVIROMUX-SEMS-16, ENVIROMUX-SEMS-16U or ENVIROMUX-2D/-5D/-16D Server
Environment Monitoring System (SYSTEM). It requires the ENVIROMUX-RLY-SRNMTR relay kit to connect the siren to a SYSTEM
(as shown below). Once connected, the SYSTEM can be configured to activate the 150dB siren as needed to alert personnel.
Installation
1. Mount the ENVIROMUX-SRN-MTR where desired.
2. Mount the electrical enclosure provided close enough to the siren to connect the cable from the siren.
3. Connect the ENVIROMUX-SRN-MTR-xxxV and ENVIROMUX-RLY-SRNMTR to a SYSTEM and connect a power source as
shown in the diagrams below.
Note: All wiring should be done by a
certified, licensed electrician.
The Relay Kit includes a relay circuit
board mounted inside an electrical
enclosure. (Cover plate not shown)

4. Configure the SYSTEM to power the siren as part of an alert response to provide users with audible indication of alert. An example
of that configuration can be found below.
For the ENVIROMUX-16D, on sensor
configuration page, place a checkmark
in the “Enable Siren” box for any
sensor that should activate the siren
when it causes the ENVIROMUX to
send an alert.
