Important Safety Instructions
When using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions should
always be followed.
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE
PRODUCT.
zCheck the household voltage to ensure it matches the units rated specification
before operating.
zClose supervision is necessary when the unit is used near children or pets, or
left unattended.
z Do not allow children to play with any packaging, such as plastic bags.
z If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the Manufacturer or an
authorised service centre in order to avoid a hazard. If the product
malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any way. Return the
complete product to an authorised service facility for checking and repair.
zThis produ ct is intended for domestic use only and not for comme rcial, industrial
or outside use.
z Always turn the unit off, unplug and empty the water tray before moving it.
z To disconnect from the power supply, grip the plug and pull from the power
socket. Never pull by the cord.
zDo not operate the unit in areas where petrol, paint, or other flammable liquids
are used or stored.
zDo not use the unit in artificially hot or humid conditions or allow it to be used in
any hazardous environment.
zDo not place the unit near an open flame, cooking or heating appliance, or hot
surface.
zThis unit is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Never locate the unit
in an area where it may fall into a bath or other water container. Always use on
a dry level surface.
zDo not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Arrange the
power cord away from an area where it may be tripped over.
z Never place the po wer cord under a carpet or rug.
z Do not place objects on th e product or allow obje cts t o obstruct the inlet or outlet
openings. Do not operate in close proximity to walls or curtains, etc.
zThe use of att achment s or accessories not recommended or sold b y the product
distributor is not recommended as they may cause injury to persons or property
and void the warranty.
zDo not attempt to repair the unit other than to clean the tank and transducer. To
repair the unit take it to a qualified service engineer.
zDo not allow water to run inside the humidifier as this could result in a fire or
electric shock.

Please read this User Guide carefully before using:
• Do not use your humidifier in a closed room; excessive moisture may
build up if there is insufficient ventilation in the room. If moisture forms
on the walls or windows you should turn the humidifier off or decrease
the output as the room has plenty of moist air and additional moisture
may cause damage.
• Locate your humidifier in an area inaccessible to children.
• Never direct the mist spray outlet (15) directly towards electronic
equipment, a wall or piece of furniture.
• Do not place your humidifier on a rug, carpet or finished surface that
may be damaged by excess moisture.
• Wallpaper and wooden surfaces can be damaged by excessive
moisture.
• For extra protection place a waterproof pad under the humidifier.
• Do not block the mist spray outlet (15).
• Do not add any oils or perfumes to the water in the tank

• Automatic switch off
If the water level drops below a preset level the unit will automatically
shut-off to prevent damage.
• Output Adjustment
The output selection knob allows you to continuously adjust the output.
You can select an ideal output in line with the indoor environment.
• Humidity display function
This product comes with a hygrometer. This indicates the current
ambient humidity range. The indicator on the hygrometer is colour
coded to ease use. When the indicator points to yellow area, it
indicates low humidity; when it points to green area, it indicates ideal
humidity; when it points to blue area it means high humidity.

Operating Instructions
This humidifier should be placed under ambient temperature for half an
hour before it is put into use for the first time.
The desired operating environment for this humidifier is:
• Temperature: 5
• Relative humidity: maxi mum 80%RH
Use clean water, temperature below 40C (purified water is recommended)
Clean the Water Basin and Water Tank after long storage.
It is normal to find a small quantity of water remaining in the Water Tank
when the unit has stopped running.
• Remove the Water Tank and turn it upside down. Remove the tank
cap and fill with fresh cold water (never use hot water). Put the cap
back onto the Water Tank tightly and place the Water Tank back onto
the Base Unit.
• Put the Nozzle into the slot at the top of the Water Tank.
• Connect the Power Cabl e and switch on the Main Switch (turning on
the Main Switch without water can cause damage the unit). The Power
Indicator light will be turned on and the unit will begin to function.
• Adjust to the desired output by tuning the adjustment dial clockwise to
increase output or anti-clockwise to decrease output.
• When all the water in the tank has been used the humidifier will stop.
Unplug your humidifier, remove the tank and refill it with cold water
following the instructions outlined above. Please ensure you unplug
the unit before re-filling.

DO NOT LEAVE ANY WATER IN THE HUMIDIFIER WHEN YOU
STOP USING IT. WATER LEFT IN THE HUMIDIFIER MAY CAUSE
BACTERIAL GROWTH THAT COULD HARM THE HUMIDIFIER'S
PERFORMANCE
YOUR HUMIDIFIER REQUIRES REGULAR CLEANING TO PREVENT
THE BUILD UP OF IMPURITIES & BACTERIA. WE RECOMMEND
THAT YOU RINSE THE TANK EVERY DAY AND CLEAN YOUR
HUMIDIFIER EVERY WEEK.

Daily maintenance
z Unplug the humidifier.
z Empty the water tank and rinse with water, use a brush or soft cloth to
remove any stains from the inside and outside.
Weekly maintenance
z Unplug the humidifier.
z Empty the water tank. Disinfect the tank by adding 5ml (1 teaspoon) of
(depending on usage)
bleach to approximately half a tank of cold water. Replace the tank cap;
shake the tank to allow all the surfaces to be come wet. Leave the
solution in the tank for about 20 minutes, shaking the tank every few
minutes to keep all the surfaces wet.
zAlternatively substitute a sterilising solution, suitable for Baby’s feeding
products.
z Empty the water tank and rinse thoroughly to remove any bleach smell.
z Clean the water channel with a damp soft cloth.
z Gently scrub the area around the transducer with a soft brush. If scale
has built up in this area it can be removed with a descaler suitable for
plastic kettles. Do not turn your humidifier on during the cleaning or
descaling process.
BS Plug Wiring
Wiring Instructions: Should it be necessary to change the plug please
note the wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
BLUE – NEUTRAL BROWN - LIVE
zThe BLUE wire is the NEUTRAL and must be connected to the
terminal that is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
zThe BROWN wire is the LIVE and must be connected to the terminal
that is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
zNeither wire is to be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or or coloured GREEN OR GREEN/YELLOW.
zAlways ensure that the cord grip is
positioned and fastened correctly.
If a 13A (BS 1363) fused plug is used
it must be fitted with a 3A fuse. If in
doubt consult a qualified electrician.

Storage Instructions
When the product is left unused over a period of time, ensure that both the
water tank and water channel are clean. After cleaning, leave it to dry and
return to the original box for storage.

household waste. For the correct collection and treatment of these
products take them to the collection points designated by your local
authority. Alternatively contact the retailer who sold you the product.
Service & Warranty

and workmanship for a period of one (1) year. Should this unit be
operated under conditions other than those recommended, at voltages
other than the voltage indicated on the unit, incorrect battery operation, or
any attempts made to service or modify the unit, this will render this
WARRANTY VOID. The product you buy may sometimes differ slightly
from illustration. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your
statutory rights.
