The Noztek Filament Winder reliably winds your filament onto the spool, with all the customization you need when testing different materials and tolerances. Using a laser to
monitor and control the filament position optimally lined up between the Tolerance Puller
and your 3D Printer
Please note: This machine cannot be used to wind transparent filament as the laser sensor will not detect the filament correctly.
Please read through this quick start guide before attempting to use this machinery
1. Power on using switch at the rear of the machine, the home screen will appear
(image 2)
2. Press Set Guide Limits. Here you can adjust the Guide Position. Use slider or +/buttons to set in alignment with your spool. You are also able to set Motor Speed
and set Filament tolerance here.
3. Press Calibrate sensors and grab a small piece of filament, wave this in the sensor while the calibration performs (progress bar will appear).
4. Return to home screen using back arrow in top left corner
5. Insert end of Filament through tension wheel, sensor and guide, and into the hole
on wheel as photographed on the next page
6. Your settings will now be ready when Auto Mode is launched (image 1), these will
remain the default settings until you reset them.'Testing' will prompt you create
settings according to the filament you are using. This will likely not be necessary
unless you're using an unusual type of filament.

Regular cleaning of your machine during the disassembly process lengthens machine
life, helps reduce waste and helps maintain tighter tolerances and quality for your final
product.
