9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-

type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not ﬁt into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

10) Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, parti-

cularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

11) Only use attachments/accessories speciﬁed by the manufacturer.

12) Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table speciﬁed by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid

injury from tip-over.

13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

14) Refer all servicing to qualiﬁed service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the appa

ratus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

WARNING:

Do not expose this equipment to dripping or splashing and ensure

that no objects ﬁlled with liquids, such as vases, are placed on the

equipment. This apparatus must be earthed. Use a three-wire grounding type line cord like the one supplied with

the product. Be advised that diﬀerent operating voltages require the use of diﬀe-

rent types of line cord and attachment plugs. Always observe the local safety regulations. This equipment should be installed near the socket outlet and dis-

connection of the device should be easily accessible. To completely disconnect this equipment from the AC Mains, discon-

nect the power supply cord plug from the AC receptacle. Please follow all instructions of the manufacturer for installation. Do not install in a conﬁned space. Do not open the unit - risk of electric shock.

Introduction

Thank you very much for purchasing the Nowsonic EarIn headphone ampliﬁer! Nowsonic EarIn is a compact, stereophonic ampliﬁer unit which ampliﬁes the incoming signals to a connected In-ear or circumaural headphone. EarIn can be fed with a stereophonic or two monophonic signals which are connected via the two balanced XLR inputs. Depending on the chosen mode (Mono or Stereo), a Balance knob sets the volume ratio for both inputs. EarIn provides high output power which makes this monitoring solution especially suitable for stationary use on stage or in the recording studio. The drummer, keyboard or horn player can adjust the level of the monitor signal as

required while an integrated limiter protects the unit from clipping. Inear or circumaural headphones (not supplied) like the Nowsonic Prinz are recommended for monitoring. Nowsonic EarIn can be comfortably mounted to the belt via a clamp. Power can be supplied via a 9V battery (optional) or the DC adapter (included).

NOTE: Using the unit with high volume may cause serious hearing damages. Please set the volume as low as possible so that you can comfortably hear the monitoring signal.

Controls and connectors on the bottom

On the bottom of EarIn, you will ﬁnd the following connectors and buttons:

1) POWER switch Use this button to turn EarIn on or oﬀ, if a 9V battery is inserted

or the unit is powered via the supplied DC adapter. When EarIn is powered, the button lights green.

2) INPUT (L) / (R)

Use the balanced INPUT (L)/ (R) sockets to connect EarIn with an

external monitoring source. You can feed in either two separate monophonic signals (e. g. two monophonic send buses of your mixing desk) or a stereophonic sum signal (e. g. the stereo mix in one sub group of your mixer). The required mode is selected via the MODE SWITCH button on the top panel of EarIn.

The inputs of EarIn accept signals with line level. Please make sure

that the monitoring signal doesn‘t already clip in the source.

3) 9V DC ADAPTER socket

Here you connect the supplied DC adapter for powering EarIn.

Alternatively you can insert a 9V battery in EarIn to operate the unit without the DC adapter. When the DC adapter is connected with a battery inserted, the battery is automatically disabled.

NOTE: Use only the supplied DC adapter, otherwise the unit can be damaged. In addition, please note that EarIn can not be used to charge an inserted 9V accumulator!

Controls and connectors on the top panel

The following sockets, indicators and controls are available on the top panel of EarIn:

1) HEADPHONE socket Connect an in-ear or circumaural headphone like the Nowsonic

Prinz (each optional available) to this 1/8“ TRS stereo mini jack.

For best results please use models with an impedance of minimum

16 ohms per side. The socket is internally wired as follows:

 • Tip INPUT(L)  • Ring INPUT(R)  • Shield ground

2) BATT CHECK LEDs

The two BAT CHECK LEDs show the current operating status of the

inserted batteries or accumulators.

Green EarIn is powered by the internal (rechargeable) battery with suﬃci-

ent voltage.

Green and red The internal (rechargeable) battery should be replaced soon. Red The capacity is exhausted: the (rechargeable) battery must be

replaced immediately.

When the external DC adapter is connected, the BATT LED lights continuously green.

3) VOLUME knob

This knob controls the level in the connected headphone. The out-

put power is 50mW per channel, an internal limiter circuit prevents the ampliﬁer from clipping.

NOTE: Using the unit with high volume over a long period may cause serious hearing damages. Please set the volume so that you can sufﬁciently hear the monitoring signal. Ringing in the ears clearly indicates that the adjusted volume is too high. Turn down the volume and make sure that you‘re using circumaural headphones with a good noise suppression or that your In-ear phones are perfectly adapted to your ears. When external noise is suppressed suﬃciently, the monitor volume can be lowered accordingly.

4) BALANCE control

Depending on the operation mode (see next section), this knob

either sets the balance between the two channels of the stereo signal or the mixing ratio of the two monophonic audio sources at the INPUTS (L) / (R).

5) MODE SWITCH button

This button toggles the operation mode of EarIn. You can choose

between two modes:

Button not pressed

Stereo mode

In Stereo mode, the INPUT (L) signal is fed to the left and the INPUT

(R) signal is fed to the right channel of the headphone. You can set

the L/R balance of both channels with the BALANCE knob.

Button pressed Mono mode

In Mono mode, the INPUT (L) and INPUT (R) signals are summed

and fed to both headphone channels. However, you can set the

volume ratio of both mono sources via the BALANCE knob.

Operation

Proceed as follows:

Insert a standard 9V battery in the battery compartment of EarIn or

connect the supplied DC adapter to the mains.

Using the appropriate cables, connect your source device (mixing

desk, audio interface, etc.) to the XLR sockets INPUT (L) / (R) on the bottom of EarIn.

Connect your in-ear or circumaural headphones to the 1/8“ mini jack

of Ear In. Set the VOLUME knob to its minimum and switch on EarIn. Gradually increase the volume to a comfortable monitoring level. Depending on the source signal, choose the MONO MIX or STEREO

operation mode and set the volume ratio or balance as required.

10) Treten Sie nicht auf das Kabel, knicken Sie das Kabel nicht und

behandeln Sie Stecker und Buchsen besonders vorsichtig.

11) Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Zubehör, das vom Hersteller für das Gerät vorgesehen ist.

12) Verwenden Sie nur Ständer, Stative oder Tische, die den Anforderungen des Herstellers entsprechen oder die zum Liefer umfang des Geräts gehören. Seien Sie beim Transport vorsichtig,

um Verletzungen durch verrutschende oder fallende Gegenstände zu vermeiden.

Stellen Sie keine Behälter mit Flüssigkeiten auf das Gerät, da diese

umkippen könnten und Wasser in das Gerät gelangen könnte. Dieses Gerät muss geerdet sein. Verwenden Sie ein geschirmtes Netzkabel mit drei Leitern wie das

mit dem Gerät ausgelieferte Netzkabel. Beachten Sie, dass bei unterschiedlichen Betriebsspannungen unter-

stimmen. Stellen Sie das Gerät in der Nähe einer Netzsteckdose auf. Die Steck-

dose sollte immer leicht zugänglich sein. Um das Gerät völlig stromlos zu machen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker

aus der Steckdose. Befolgen Sie bei der Aufstellung immer alle Hinweise des Herstellers. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht unter beengten Platzverhältnissen. Öﬀnen Sie das Gerät nicht – Gefahr eines Stromschlags.

Einleitung

Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für den Kopfhörerverstärker Nowsonic EarIn entschieden haben. Der Nowsonic EarIn ist eine kompakte, stereophone Verstärkereinheit, die anliegende Signale auf einen angeschlossenen In-Ear- oder Muschelkopfhörer verstärkt. EarIn kann über die zwei symmetrischen XLR-Eingänge mit zwei monophonen oder einem stereophonen Signal verkabelt werden. Abhängig vom Betrieb der Einheit im Mono- oder Stereo-Modus erlaubt ein Balance-Regler eine individuelle Aussteuerung zwischen beiden Eingängen. EarIn zeichnet sich durch eine hohe Ausgangsleistung aus, sodass sich diese Monitoring-Lösung speziell für den stationären Einsatz auf der Bühne oder im Studio eignet: Schlagzeuger, Keyboarder oder Bläser können ihr Moni

torsignal nach Bedarf aussteuern, ein integrierter Limiter schützt dabei vor Übersteuerungen. Als Kopfhörer kommen (nicht im Lieferumfang enthaltene) In-Ear-Hörer oder ein Muschelkopfhörer wie der Nowsonic Prinz zum Einsatz. Über eine Halterung lässt sich Nowsonic EarIn bequem am Gürtel befestigen. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt wahlweise über eine (separat erhältliche) 9V Batterie oder das mitgelieferte DC-Netzteil.

ANMERKUNG: Ein Betrieb mit zu hoher Lautstärke kann Ihr Gehör schädigen. Stellen Sie die Lautstärke möglichst niedrig ein, sodass Sie das Monitorsignal dennoch angenehm hören können.

Auf der Unterseite von EarIn beﬁnden sich folgende Anschlüsse und Taster:

1) Taste POWER

Über diese Taste schalten Sie EarIn ein bzw. aus, sofern eine 9 V Bat-

terie in das Gerät eingesetzt wurde oder es über das mitgelieferte DC-Netzteil mit Strom versorgt wird. Wenn EarIn eingeschaltet ist, leuchtet die Taste grün.

2) INPUT (L) / (R)

Über die symmetrischen Buchsen INPUT (L)/ (R) schließen Sie

externe Monitorquellen an EarIn an: Dabei können Sie wahlweise zwei separate Mono-Signale (z. B. die Sends von zwei monophonen Aux-Wegen eines Mischpults) oder ein stereophones Summensignal (z. B. die Stereomischung in einer Subgruppe des Mischpults) einspeisen: Die Auswahl der Betriebsart erfolgt über die Taste MODE SWITCH auf der Oberseite von EarIn.

Die Eingänge von EarIn sind für Signale mit Linepegel ausgelegt:

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Monitorsignale nicht bereits in der Quelle übersteuern.

3) Buchse 9V DC ADAPTER

Hier schließen Sie das mitgelieferte Gleichstromnetzteil zur Strom-

versorgung von EarIn an. Alternativ können Sie eine 9 V Blockbatterie in EarIn einsetzen: Ein Anschluss des Netzteils ist dann nicht zum Betrieb notwendig. Wenn Sie das Netzteil bei eingesetzter Batterie anschließen, wird die Batterie automatisch deaktiviert.

ANMERKUNG: Verwenden Sie in jedem Fall das mitgelieferte Netzteil, da andernfalls Schäden am Gerät auftreten können. Beachten Sie zudem, dass EarIn keine Möglichkeit bietet, einen 9 V Akku über das angeschlossene Netzteil aufzuladen!

Bedienelemente und Anschlüsse auf der Oberseite

Auf der Oberseite von EarIn stehen folgende Anschlüsse, Anzeigen und Bedienelemente zur Verfügung:

1) Buchse HEADPHONE An dieser stereophone 3,5 mm Miniklinkenbuchse schließen Sie

einen In-Ear-Hörer oder einen Muschelkopfhörer wie den Nowsonic Prinz (jeweils optional erhältlich) an. Um optimale Ergebnisse zu erzielen, verwenden Sie Modelle mit einer Impedanz von mindestens 16 Ohm pro Seite. Die interne Belegung der Buchse ist:

 • Tip INPUT(L)  • Ring INPUT(R)  • Shield ground

2) LEDs BATT CHECK Die beiden LEDs BAT CHECK zeigen den aktuellen Betriebszustand

der eingesetzten Batterie oder des Akkus an.

Grün EarIn wird die interne Batterie/Akku ausreichend mit Spannung

versorgt.

Grün und rot Die interne Batterie/Akku muss demnächst ausgetauscht werden. Rot Die Kapazität ist erschöpft: Die Batterie/Akku muss sofort ge-

tauscht werden.

Wenn das externe Netzteil angeschlossen ist, leuchtet die LED

BATT dauerhaft grün.

3) Regler VOLUME

Mit diesem Regler steuern Sie die Lautstärke im angeschlossenen

Kopfhörer aus. Die Ausgangsleistung liegt bei 50 mW pro Kanal, eine interne Limiter-Schaltung schützt vor einer Überlastung der Verstärkereinheit.

ANMERKUNG: Ein Betrieb mit dauerhaft hoher Lautstärke kann das Gehör schädigen. Stellen Sie die Lautstärke immer so laut ein, dass Sie das Monitorsignal angenehm hören können. Sofern Ihr Gehör „zu klingeln“ beginnt, ist das ein sicheres Zeichen dafür, dass die Lautstärke zu hoch eingestellt ist. Regeln Sie die Lautstärke entsprechend herunter und stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie Muschelkopfhörer mit einer ausreichend hohen Außendämpfung bzw. gut angepasste In-Ear-Hörer verwenden: Wenn externe Geräusche ausreichend gedämpft werden, können Sie die Monitorlautstärke entsprechend geringer einstellen.

4) Regler BALANCE

Abhängig vom gewählten Betriebsmodus (siehe nächster Punkt)

steuert dieser Regler wahlweise die Stereo-Balance zwischen den beiden Kanälen eines Stereosignals oder das Mischungsverhältnis von zwei monophonen Audioquellen an den INPUTS (L) / (R).

5) Taste MODE SWITCH

Über diesen Schalter schalten Sie die Betriebsart von EarIn um.

Folgende zwei Optionen stehen zur Auswahl:

Taste nicht gedrückt Stereo-Modus

Im Stereo-Modus liegt das Signal an INPUT (L) im linken und das

Signal an INPUT (R) im rechten Kanal des Kopfhörers an. Über den Regler BALANCE stellen Sie das L/R-Verhältnis zwischen beiden Seiten ein.

Taste gedrückt Mono-Modus

Im Mono-Modus liegen die Signale von INPUT (L) und INPUT (R)

zugleich im linken und rechten Kanal des Kopfhörers an. Über den Regler BALANCE stellen Sie das Lautstärkeverhältnis zwischen beiden Mono-Quellen ein.

Inbetriebnahme

Zur Inbetriebnahme gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

Setzen Sie eine 9 V Blockbatterie im Batteriefach von EarIn ein oder

verbinden Sie das Gerät über das mitgelieferte Netzteil mit dem Stromnetz.

Introduction

Merci beaucoup d‘avoir choisi l‘ampliﬁcateur pour casque EarIn de Nowsonic. L‘EarIn Nowsonic est une unité d‘ampliﬁcation stéréo compacte, qui ampliﬁe les signaux pour des écouteurs intra-auriculaires ou un casque. L‘EarIn peut recevoir deux signaux monophoniques ou un signal stéréophonique par ses deux entrées XLR symétriques. En fonction de l‘utilisation de l‘unité en mode mono ou en mode stéréo, une commande Balance permet de contrôler le niveau individuel des deux entrées. L‘EarIn se caractérise par une puissance de sortie élevée, qui en fait une solution de monitoring particulièrement bien adaptée à une utilisation ﬁxe sur scène ou en studio : batteurs, claviers et cuiv res peuvent ajuster leur signal de retour en fonction de leurs besoins,

un limiteur intégré protège de la saturation. Comme écouteurs (non fournis), employez des écouteurs intra-auriculaires ou un casque tel que le Prinz de Nowsonic. Avec un support de montage, vous pouvez facilement attacher l‘EarIn Nowsonic à votre ceinture. L‘alimentation se fait via une pile 9 V (vendue séparément) ou l‘adaptateur secteur-CC fourni.spectrl‘avez achetée.

REMARQUE: une utilisation à volume élevé peut endommager votre audition. Essayez de régler le volume aussi bas que possible, de façon à néanmoins pouvoir entendre confortablement le signal de retour.

Commandes et connexions en face inférieure

Sous l‘EarIn se trouvent les prises et le bouton suivants :

1) Bouton POWER

Utilisez ce bouton pour allumer ou éteindre l‘EarIn, si une pile de

9 V est insérée dans l‘appareil ou s‘il est alimenté par l‘adaptateur secteur-CC fourni. Quand l‘EarIn est sous tension, le bouton est allumé en vert.

INPUT (L) / (R)

Branchez la source de retour externe de l‘EarIn à ses prises d‘entrée

symétriques INPUT (L)/ (R) : vous pouvez au choix faire entrer deux signaux mono séparés (par ex. deux départs Aux monophoniques d‘une console de mixage) ou un signal stéréo (par ex. le mixage stéréo d‘un sous-groupe de la console de mixage) : le mode de fonctionnement est déterminé par le sélecteur MODE SWITCH en face supérieure de l‘EarIn.

Les entrées de l‘EarIn sont conçues pour des signaux de niveau

ligne : assurez-vous que les signaux de retour ne saturent pas déjà à la source.

3) Prise 9V DC ADAPTER

Connectez ici l‘adaptateur secteur-CC fourni pour alimenter

l‘EarIn. Sinon, vous pouvez insérer une pile de 9 V dans l‘EarIn : le branchement de l‘alimentation électrique n‘est alors pas nécessaire au fonctionnement. Si vous branchez l‘adaptateur secteur alors qu‘une pile est installée, l‘alimentation par pile est automatiquement désactivée.

REMARQUE : n‘utilisez toujours que l‘adaptateur secteur fourni, sous peine de causer des dommages à l‘appareil. Veuillez aussi noter que l‘EarIn n‘oﬀre aucun moyen de charger un accu de 9 V via le bloc d‘alimentation connecté !

Commandes et connexions en face supérieure

Sur le dessus de l‘EarIn se trouvent les connexions, indications et commandes suivantes :

1) Prise HEADPHONE Branchez à ce mini-jack 3,5 mm stéréo des écouteurs intra-

auriculaires ou un casque comme le Prinz de Nowsonic (vendus séparément). Pour obtenir des résultats optimaux, utilisez des modèles ayant une impédance minimale de 16 ohms par côté. Le câblage interne de la prise est :

 • Pointe Entréegauche–INPUT(L)  • Bague Entréedroite–INPUT(R)  • Manchon Masse

2) Voyants BATT CHECK Les deux voyants BAT CHECK indiquent l‘état de fonctionnement

actuel de la pile ou de l‘accu inséré.

Vert La pile/l‘accu interne fournit une tension suﬃsante à l‘EarIn.

Vert et rouge

La pile/l‘accu interne fournit une tension suﬃsante à l‘EarIn.

Rrouge

La pile/l‘accu interne est déchargé : il faut la/le remplacer immédia-

tement.

Lorsque l‘adaptateur secteur externe est connecté, le voyant BATT

s‘allume stablement en vert.

3) Régulateur VOLUME

Avec cette commande, vous pouvez régler le niveau de volum dans les

écouteurs connectés. La puissance de sortie est de 50 mW par canal, un circuit limiteur interne protège l‘unité d‘ampliﬁcation d‘une saturation.

REMARQUE : une utilisation à volume constamment élevé peut endommager l‘audition. Réglez toujours le volume à un niveau vous permettant d‘entendre confortablement le signal de retour. Si votre oreille commence à « bourdonner », c‘est un signe probant que le volume est trop élevé. Baissez en conséquence le volume et assurez-vous que vous utilisez un casque ayant une atténuation suﬃsante du bruit extérieur ou des écouteurs intra-auriculaires bien ajustés : si le bruit externe est suﬃsamment atténué, vous pouvez régler le volume d‘écoute proportionnellement plus bas.

4) Régulateur BALANCE

Selon le mode de fonctionnement choisi (voir le paragraphe

suivant), cette commande contrôle soit la balance stéréo des deux canaux d‘un signal stéréo, soit le rapport de mixage de deux sources audio monophoniques aux entrées INPUT (L) / (R).

5) Sélecteur MODE SWITCH

Utilisez ce sélecteur pour changer le mode de fonctionnement de

l‘EarIn. Vous avez le choix entre les deux options suivantes :

Sélecteur non enfoncé Mode stéréo

En mode stéréo, le signal de l‘entrée INPUT (L) va dans le canal gau-

che des écouteurs et le signal de l‘entrée INPUT (R) dans le canal

droit. Avec la commande BALANCE, vous réglez le rapport gauche/ droite entre les deux côtés.

Sélecteur enfoncé Mode mono

En mode mono, les signaux des entrées INPUT (L) et INPUT (R) sont

tous les deux envoyés aux canaux gauche et droit des écouteurs. Avec la commande BALANCE, vous réglez le rapport de volume entre les deux sources mono.

Mise en service

Pour la mise en service, procédez comme suit :

Insérez une pile 9 V dans le compartiment pour pile de l‘EarIn ou con-

nectez l‘appareil au secteur via l‘adaptateur d‘alimentation électrique fourni.

Avec des câbles appropriés, connectez votre source (table de mixage,

interface audio, etc) aux entrées XLR INPUT (L) / (R) sous l‘EarIn.

Branchez vos écouteurs intra-auriculaires ou votre casque à la prise

mini-jack 3,5 mm de l‘EarIn.

Réglez le bouton VOLUME au minimum et allumez l‘EarIn. Maintenant, montez lentement le volume jusqu‘à l‘obtention d‘un

volume d‘écoute confortable.

En fonction du signal source, choisissez le mode de fonctionnement

MONO MIX ou STEREO : si besoin est, réglez le rapport de mixage des deux sources ou la balance.

¡Muchas gracias por adquirir el ampliﬁcador de auriculares Nowsonic EarIn! El Nowsonic EarIn es una unidad ampliﬁcadora estéreo compacta que ampliﬁca las señales correspondientes en unos auriculares In-Ear o circumaurales. EarIn puede conectarse por cable mediante las dos entradas XLR simétricas con dos señales mono o una señal estéreo. Dependiendo de si la unidad se usa en modo mono o estéreo, un regulador de balance permite una modulación individual entre las dos entradas. EarIn se distingue por una gran potencia de salida, de manera que esta solución de monitorización es especialmente adecuada para el uso estacionario en un escenario o en un estudio: bateristas, teclistas o músicos de viento pueden modular su señal de monitor

según las necesidades; además, un limitador integrado protege contra las sobremodulaciones. Como auriculares (no incluidos en el volumen de suministro) pueden emplearse auriculares In-Ear o circumaurales, como los Nowsonic Prinz. Mediante un clip, Nowsonic EarIn puede ajustarse cómodamente al cinturón. Controles y conexiones en la parte inferior

En la parte inferior de EarIn se encuentran las siguientes teclas y conexiones:

1) Tecla POWER

Mediante esta tecla enciende o apaga EarIn, siempre que el apa-

rato incorpore una batería de 9 V o esté alimentado con corriente mediante la fuente de alimentación CC suministrada. Cuando EarIn está encendido, la tecla se ilumina en verde.

2)INPUT (L) / (R)

Mediante los conectores hembra simétricos INPUT (L)/ (R) pueden

conectarse a EarIn fuentes de monitor externas: para ello, usted puede introducir, a elección, dos señales mono independientes (por ej. las emisiones de dos canales auxiliares mono de una mesa de mezclas) o una señal suma de canales estéreo (por ej. la mezcla estéreo en un subgrupo de la mesa de mezclas): la elección del modo de funcionamiento se realiza mediante la tecla MODE SWITCH en la parte superior de EarIn.

Las entradas de EarIn han sido concebidas para señales con nivel

de línea: preste usted atención a que la señal del monitor no se sobremodule ya en la fuente.

3) Conectores hembra ADAPTADOR CC 9V

Aquí se conecta la fuente de alimentación de corriente continua

suministrada para la alimentación de EarIn. De manera alternativa, se puede incorporar una batería de 9 V: en este caso, para el funcionamiento no es necesaria la conexión de la fuente de alimentación. Si conecta la fuente de alimentación con la batería aún alojada en el aparato, ésta se desactivará automáticamente.

OBSERVACIÓN: Utilice siempre la fuente de alimentación suministrada ya que de lo contrario podrían producirse daños en el aparato. Además, ¡tenga en cuenta que EarIn no ofrece la posibilidad de recargar un acumulador de 9 V mediante la fuente de alimentación conectada!

Controles y conexiones en la parte superior

En la parte superior de EarIn se encuentran a disposición las siguientes conexiones, pantallas y controles:

1) Conector HEADPHONE En este conectar hembra minijack de 3.5 mm pueden conectarse

unos auriculares In-Ear o circumaurales como los Nowsonic Prinz (ambos disponibles bajo pedido). Para obtener los mejores resultados, utilice modelos de una impedancia de al menos 16 ohmios por lado. La ocupación interna del conector hembra es:

 • Punta INPUT(L)  • Aro INPUT(R)  • Cuerpo tierra

2) LEDs BATT CHECK Los dos LEDs BAT CHECK muestran el estado de funcionamiento

actual de la batería incorporada o del acumulador.

Verde EarIn es alimentado con corriente suﬁciente mediante la batería/el.

Verde y rojo

La batería/el acumulador internos deben cambiarse próximamente.

Rojo

La capacidad se ha agotado: la batería/el acumulador deben cam-

biarse inmediatamente.

Si está conectada la fuente de alimentación externa, se ilumina de

manera estable en verde el LED BATT.

3) Regulador VOLUME

Con este regulador puede modular la intensidad de sonido en los

auriculares conectados. La potencia de salida es de 50 mW por canal, un circuito limitador interno protege contra una sobrecarga de la unidad ampliﬁcadora.

OBSERVACIÓN: un uso continuado con intensidades de sonido muy elevadas puede causar daños a su oído. Regule siempre la intensidad de sonido a un volumen que le permita escuchar agradablemente la señal del monitor. En cuanto su oído empiece a „pitar“ signiﬁca inequívocamente que la intensidad de sonido es demasiado alta. Baje la intensidad de sonido y asegúrese de que utiliza auriculares circumaurales con una amortiguación de sonido externo suﬁciente o un auricular In-Ear correctamente ajustado: si los ruidos externos están suﬁcientemente amortiguados, puede usted reducir de manera correspondiente la intensidad de sonido del monitor.

4) Regulador BALANCE

Dependiendo del modo de funcionamiento seleccionado (vea

el punto sucesivo) este regulador controla, a elección, el balance estéreo entre los dos canales de una señal estéreo o la relación de mezcla de dos fuentes audio mono en los INPUTS (L) / (R).

5) Tecla MODE SWITCH

Mediante este interruptor puede cambiar el modo de funcionamien-

to de EarIn. Están a su disposición las siguientes dos opciones

Tecla no apretada Modo estére

En el modo estéreo, la señal en INPUT (L) se aplica al canal izquierdo

de los auriculares y la señal en INPUT (R) al derecho. Mediante el regulador BALANCE se ajusta la relación L/R entre ambos lados.

Tecla apretada Modo mono

En el modo mono, las señales de INPUT (L) e INPUT (R) se aplican a

la vez a los canales izquierdo y derecho de los auriculares. Mediante el regulador BALANCE se ajusta la relación de intensidad de sonido entre ambas fuentes mono.

Puesta en servicio

Para la puesta en servicio, proceda de esta manera:

Coloque una batería de 9 V en el compartimento de batería de EarIn

o conecte el aparato mediante la fuente de alimentación a la red de corriente.

Conecte su fuente (mesa de mezclas, interfaz audio u otras) mediante

los cables adecuados a las entradas XLR INPUT (L) / (R) de la parte inferior de EarIn.

Conecte su auricular In-Ear o unos auriculares circumaurales a los

conectores hembra minijack de 3.5 mm de EarIn.

Ajuste el regulador VOLUME al mínimo y encienda EarIn. Aumente lentamente la intensidad de sonido hasta alcanzar un volu-

men de escucha agradable.

OSTRZEŻENIE:

Aby ograniczyć niebezpieczeństwo pożaru i porażenia prądem, nie

Wstęp

Dziękujemy za zakupienie wzmacniacza słuchawkowego Nowsonic Earln. Urządzenie Nowsonic EarIn jest zwartym, stereofonicznym wzmacniaczem słuchawek dousznych In-Ear lub nausznych. Wzmacniacz EarIn może być połączony przez dwa symetryczne wejścia XLR z dwoma sygnałami monofonicznymi lub jednym stereofonicznym. W dolnej części obudowy wzmacniacza EarIn znajdują się następujące złącza i przyciski:

1) Przycisk POWER

Tym przyciskiem włączasz i wyłączasz wzmacniacz EarIn, po

umieszczeniu w nim baterii 9 V lub podłączeniu dostarczonego w zestawie zasilacza prądu stałego. Kiedy wzmacniacz EarIn jest włączony, przycisk świeci się na zielono.

2)INPUT (L) / (R)

Poprzez symetryczne gniazda INPUT (L)/(R) podłączasz do wz-

macniacza Earln zewnętrzne źródła monitorowane: możesz tu podłączyć dwa oddzielne sygnały monofoniczne (np. pochodzące z dwóch monofonicznych wyjść Aux miksera) lub stereofoniczny sygnał sumacyjny (np. stereofoniczny mieszacz miksera): tryb działania wybierany jest przyciskiem MODE SWITCH w górnej części obudowy urządzenia.

Wejścia wzmacniacza EarIn są przeznaczone dla sygnałów o stan-

dardowym poziomie (line): Zwróć uwagę na to, by sygnał źródłowy przeznaczony do monitorowania nie był przesterowany.

3) Gniazdo 9V DC ADAPTER

Tu podłączasz dostarczony w zestawie sieciowy zasilacz prądu

stałego. Alternatywnie możesz włożyć do wzmacniacza baterię 9V: w tym przypadku nie jest konieczne podłączenie zasilacza. Jeśli podłączysz zasilacz przy włożonej do wzmacniacza baterii, bateria zostanie automatycznie odłączona.

UWAGA: Używaj wyłącznie zasilacza sieciowego dostarczonego w zestawie, w innym przypadku może dojść do uszkodzenia urządzenia. Zwróć uwagę na to, że wzmacniacz EarIn nie daje możliwości ładowania akumulatora 9 V za pośrednictwem podłączonego zasilacza sieciowego!

Elementy obsługi i gniazda w górnej części obudowy

W górnej części obudowy wzmacniacza EarIn znajdują się następujące gniazda, wskaźniki i przyciski:

1) Gniazdo HEADPHONE Do tego stereofonicznego gniazda 3,5 mm Minijack podłączasz

słuchawki douszne In-Ear lub nauszne, takie jak Nowsonic Prinz (dostępne opcjonalnie). Dla uzyskania optymalnych wyników, używaj słuchawek o impedancji co najmniej 16 Ohm na kanał. Układ sygnałów w gniazdku jest następujący:

 • Nasadka INPUT(L)  • Pierścień INPUT(R)  • Tuleja masa

2) Diody LED BATT CHECK Obydwie diody LED BAT CHECK wskazują aktualny stan baterii lub

akumulatora.

Kolor zielony wewnętrzna bateria lub akumulator jest wystarczająco naładowana

do zasilania wzmacniacza EarIn.

Kolor zielony i czerwony wewnętrzna bateria lub akumulator musi niebawem zostać wymie-

niona.

Kolor czerwony bateria lub akumulator jest rozładowana i musi zostać natychmiast

wymieniona.

Kiedy podłączony jest zasilacz zewnętrzny, dioda LED BATT świeci

się nieprzerwanie na zielono.

3) Pokrętło VOLUME

Tym pokrętłem ustawiasz poziom głośności dźwięku w

podłączonych słuchawkach. Moc wyjściowa wynosi 50 mW dla kanału, a wbudowany ogranicznik chroni układ wzmacniacza przed przeciążeniem.

UWAGA: Ustawienie zbyt wysokiego poziomu głośności dźwięku może doprowadzić do uszkodzenia słuchu. Zawsze ustawiaj poziom głośności tak, by monitorowany dźwięk miał przyjemne brzmienie. Gdy dźwięk w uszach zaczyna „brzęczeć“ oznacza to, że poziom głośności jest ustawiony za wysoko. Zmniejsz odpowiednio poziom głośności dźwięku i zadbaj o to, aby słuchawki nauszne dobrze tłumiły zakłócenia zewnętrzne, a słuchawki douszne były dobrze dopasowane: gdy dźwięki otoczenia są wystarczająco dobrze tłumione, można obniżyć poziom głośności monitorowanego dźwięku w słuchawkach.

4) Pokrętło BALANCE

W zależności od ustawionego trybu pracy (patrz następny punkt)

pokrętło reguluje albo poziom balansu stereo między kanałami sygnału stereofonicznego albo stopień mieszania dwóch sygnałów monofonicznych doprowadzonych do wejść INPUT (L) / (R).

5) Przycisk trybu pracy MODE SWITCH

Tym przyciskiem wybierasz tryb pracy wzmacniacza EarIn. Do wyboru

są następujące dwie opcje:

Przycisk zwolniony Tryb stereo

W trybie stereo sygnał z lewego wejścia INPUT (L) jest odtwarzany

w lewej słuchawce i sygnał prawego wejścia INPUT (R) w prawej słuchawce. Pokrętłem BALANCE ustawiasz balans sygnału między lewym i prawym kanałem.

Przycisk wciśnięty Tryb mono

W trybie mono sygnały z wejść lewego INPUT (L) i prawego INPUT

(R) są jednocześnie odtwarzane w obydwu kanałach słuchawek. Pokrętłem BALANCE ustawiasz stopień mieszania obydwu sygnałów mono.

Uruchamianie

W celu uruchomienia urządzenia postępuj w następujący sposób:

Włóż baterię 9 V do pojemnika we wzmacniaczu EarIn albo podłącz

do niego dostarczony w zestawie zasilacz sieciowy.

Podłącz źródło sygnału (mikser, interfejs audio itp.) odpowiednimi

kablami z wejściami XLR INPUT (L) / (R) w dolnej części obudowy wzmacniacza EarIn.

Podłącz słuchawki (douszne lub nauszne) do gniazda 3,5 mm Mini-

jack wzmacniacza EarIn.

Skręć pokrętło VOLUME na minimum i włącz wzmacniacz EarIn.

Powoli zwiększ poziom głośności dźwięku aż do uzyskania przyjemn-

ego brzmienia. Wybierz w zależności od rodzaju sygnału tryb pracy MONO MIX albo

STEREO: w zależności od potrzeb ustaw poziom balansu lub mieszania

sygnału między kanałami.
