These Novex stereo microscopes are perfectly suited for educational purposes as well as for nature
observation and amateur usage. With a stereo microscope both transparent and non-transparent
objects can be observed e.g. insects, plants, minerals, gems, stamps and coins as well as small
mechanical or electronic parts. The choice of a stereo microscope is deter-
mined by the size and structure of the object. A lower magnification provides
a larger field of view, a larger working distance and a larger depth detail.
AP-2
50.900
The AP-1 and AP-2 stereo microscopes have a vertical binocular
head with dioptre adjustment and adjustable eye separation of
55 to 75 mm. Focussing movement is adjusted by two knobs via
a transmission clutch. The stand is made of light metal and is
supplied with black-white stage plate.
The AP-2 is equipped with a built-in 12 Volt 10 Watt incident illuminator.
With the optional WF 5x, WF15x and WF 20x eyepieces and
interchangeable objectives 1x, 3x, 4x and 6x magnifications
of 5x to 120x can be reached.
The AP-1, AP-2 and AP-4 are supplied as standard with WF10x/20
eyepieces and a 2x objective.

The AP-4 and AP-5 models have a 45° mounted binocular head with dovetailed objectives and are supplied as standard with a
2x objective and secured WF 10x/20 eyepieces. With the optional interchangeable objectives 1x, 3x, 4x and 6x and
optional eyepieces WF 5x, WF 15x and WF 20x, magnifications of 5 to 120 times can be reached. The AP-4
and AP-5 types have a 12 Volt, 10 Watt incident illuminator. The AP-5 also has transmitted illumination.
The AP-7 is equipped with a revolving
1x/3x objective. The AP-8 has a revolving
2x/4x objective. Both models are supplied
as standard with secured WF 10x/20
eyepieces.
The AP-7 and AP-8 are supplied with
12 Volt, 10 Watt incident and transmitted
illumination (50.925 and 50.930).
The AP-7 LED and AP-8 LED have LED
illumination (50.926 and 50.931).
* The incident LED illumination can be used continuously for 35 hours
* The LED models come with three rechargeable 2000 Ma NiMh AA-batteries
with 200 mA battery charger
The P-10 and P-20 are equipped with a 360° revolving binocular tube and have a revolving objective turret with 1x/3x or 2x/4x objectives. Secured WF10x/20 eyepieces are supplied as standard. The P-10 and P-20 microscopes have powerful 12 Volts, 10 Watt halogen or LED light sources for both incident and transmitted illumination. Both illuminators can be operated independently or simultaneously.
With the optional eyepieces WF 5x, WF 15x and WF 20x you can reach magnifications of 5 to 60 times
with the AP-7 and P-10. With the AP-8 and P-20 magnifications of 10 to 80 times can be reached.
All AP and P models are supplied with a black-white stage plate.
The AP-5, AP-7, AP-8, P-10 and P-20 models also have a transparent stage plate for
transmitted illumination.
