STEP 3: CONNECTING YOUR TELEPHONE
This device provides ports for u p to two telephon es. Both por ts use the same telephone number.
1. Unpl ug your telephon e’s cord from your wa ll’s telephone jack .
WARNING! Do not plug this device into your telephone wall jack.
2. Plug the end of the tel ephone cord tha t was just removed f rom the wall jack into one of the two phone por ts on the back of t he device. The oth er end of the cord must remain plugged in to the back of you r telephone’s base u nit.
NOTE: The telephone and teleph one cord are so ld separate ly. Rotary, puls e dialing, a nd Voice over IP (VoIP) phones are not suppor ted.
IMPORTA NT! If the device is in active mode a nd runnin g on the bat tery alone , only voice call s are supported.
If the Power button is pressed and held, t he device will e nter char ging mode. W hen in charging mode, the dev ice screen dis plays the bat tery cha rge indica tor (
). To resume normal operatio n, press the P ower butt on. To completely t urn off th e device, disconnect from AC power.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
STEP 1: INSTALL THE BATTERY
1. Remove the battery cover on t he underside of t he device.
2. Plug in and insert the bat tery, keeping the r ed cable to the cent er of the device
and the metal contacts facing u p, then replace th e battery c over.
STEP 2: PLUG IN THE POWER CORD
1. Plug the power cord into the devi ce power port.
2. Plug the power adapter into an AC wa ll outlet. The d evice will power on an d
guide you through a welcome proce ss for connec ting via Wi-Fi. O nce complete, verify at least one bar of the voice si gnal streng th indicator (
) is lit. If not,
move device to an alternative locat ion that provides a s tronger sign al.
WARNING! Be sure to use the power cord that came with your device to avoid damage that may void the warranty.
