GENERAL
NOTIFIER non-coded,single-action-type, manual fire stations NFM-950B and NFM-950KB are designed to complete automatic detection circuitry via a manually operated
device.
To facilitate identification and operation, operating instructions are displayed in raised letters (bilingual) and the stations are finished in red baked enamel. The rectangular,
low-profile design blends with modern architectural decor.
These manual fire stations consist of a pull-down door and
its support, both made of extruded aluminum, and are designed for semi-flush mounting on a single-gang box. Model
NFM-950B is equipped with a door-operated switch. Model
NFM-950KB is equipped with both a door-operated switch
and a key-operated switch.

OPERATION
The stations are operated by pulling on the door-top. On
the NFM-950KB, this action will expose the key-operated
switch that commands the general alarm. The station can
be restored to normal position with a screwdriver. Manual
stations should be installed: at every means of egress on
every floor (including the basement); in all the rooms occupied by more than 100 people; and at the rate of one station per every 111.5 sq.m. (1,200 sq.ft.) of floor area, with
not more than 30.5 m. (100 ft.) of travel between each station.
