Basic safety precautions should always be followed when using electrical appliances, including the following:

6. The manufacturer does not recommend the use of accessory attachments. Use of accessory attachments may cause injuries.

16. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord.
17. Longer detachable power supply cords can be used if care is exercised in their use.
18. The marked electrical rating of an extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
19. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized outlet only one way. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the THEATER STYLE MOTORIZED STIRRING POPCORN MAKER from Nostalgia Electrics. This unique popcorn maker is fun and easy to use. It's a popcorn maker and bucket in one! Simply add kernels, ip the switch and in about ve minutes, turn unit upside-down and you will have a theater-style bucket full of delicious popcorn. A measuring cap in the lid allows you to add the perfect amount of corn kernels for each batch, while the stirrer inside helps prevent popcorn from burning. Add oil, butter or salt to enhance the avor. Also works great for making kettle corn or roasting nuts.

HOW TO OPERATE
Before rst use, clean the Bucket and Measuring Cap by removing Measuring Cap from Bucket and wiping both with a moist, non-abrasive sponge, towel or cloth and then wipe with a non-abrasive dry towel.
Remove the Stirring Rod from the Base by turning Center Knob counterclockwise. Wipe the Stirring Rod and Base with a moist, non-abrasive sponge, towel or cloth and then wipe with a non-abrasive dry towel. Replace the Stirring Rod and make sure the rod ts into the notched area around the screw. Secure by turning Center Knob clockwise.
1. First, nd a at surface near an electrical outlet before starting. Make sure your cord is away from any water source. It is acceptable to use an extension cord if needed.
2. Gather your popcorn making supplies: popcorn, seasonings, cooking oil, and measuring spoon for oil. (Kernel Measuring Cap is included with your unit).
3. Measure 3 tablespoons of oil and add to the nonstick Base (oil may also be added through ventilation slots while corn kernels are popping.
4. Using the Kernel Measuring Cap supplied with your THEATER STYLE MOTORIZED STIRRING POPCORN MAKER add 6 ounces of corn kernels. DO NOT exceed the MAX FILL line on the Kernel Measuring Cup.
5. For every Measuring Cap full of kernels (6 oz.), add 3 tablespoons of oil. For best results, light vegetable oil is recommended.
6. Always remove Kernel Measuring Cap while kernels are popping.
7. Plug in the appliance while switch is ipped to OFF position.
8. Turn appliance ON by ipping the switch on the Base. In no time at all, you will hear the popping begin.
9. Once popping stops, turn unit OFF, then unplug.
10. Secure Kernel Measuring Cap to Bucket.
11. While wearing oven mitts, ip the Bucket over, remove Base and you will have hot, fresh and delicious popcorn ready to serve!

HELPFUL TIPS
Smoking
If your THEATER STYLE MOTORIZED STIRRING POPCORN MAKER begins to smoke during cooking, it may be due to grease build up. In order to reduce smoking, make sure that you clean the nonstick surface of the Base between uses.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. Make sure appliance is unplugged and cooled before cleaning.
2. Remove Stirring Rod from Base by unscrewing Center Knob.
3. Wash the Bucket and Kernel Measuring Cup in warm, soapy water with a non­abrasive cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a non-abrasive towel.
4. Clean the nonstick surface of the Base with a non-abrasive, damp and soapy cloth. Wipe surface until fully clean and then dry with a dry, non-abrasive cloth. NEVER use scouring pad nor abrasive cleaners on the Base, as scratching may occur.
5. Wipe outside of Base with damp cloth and dry.
NOTE: Never place any parts in the dishwasher. Always wash by hand.
