CLEANSE PRODUCT BEFORE FIRST USE
Detach tank from motor base by sliding the 3 LOCK/UNLOCK switches located on this unit to the unlock position. (Fig. A)
Gently remove the tank from the base. Pour warm soapy water into the tank and dispense all of the soapy water through the spigot to clean both tank and spigot. Rinse by pouring water into the tank and dispense through t he spigot until no soapy residue remains.
Once the upper portion has been satisfactorily rinsed out, dry both interior and exterior sides of the tank thoroughly with a soft non-abrasive clean dry towel.
Replace the upper portion (tank) onto the base, making sure spigot fits properly in “U” shaped cut out in front of unit.
Slide the 3 LOCK/UNLOCK buttons to the LOCK position.
USING YOUR MARGARATOR – A QUICK START GUIDE
1. Securely place Margar ator on level su r face.
2. Plug your AC cord into your electrical outlet.(See Fig. B for bottom of unit loc a ti on and storage of the el ec tr ic a l cord.)
3. Check the black plastic grinding cage collar inside of unit to make sure it is locked in place (Fig. E).
4. Fill the unit with ice to the top of the Max Fill line (Fig. C).

5. FOR MARGARITAS; Pour 3 parts concentrated mix (approx. 45 ounces) to 1 part Tequila (appr ox. 15 ounces). For a slushier mix, less liquid is recommended OR ADD MORE ICE . More liquid ca n always be added by turni ng and openi ng th e cl ear window in the li d, aft er mix i ng to ach ieve the desired consistency.
6. Place lid on unit . Line up the arrows (O ne downward arrow on the black lid and one upward arrow on the clear polycarbonate tank) to find the correct fit. (This is a safety lock and the unit will not turn on without the lid in correct position). Lift the handle to a straight up position to lock the unit. (Fig. D)
7. Turn the unit on and with the handle in a straight up position, begin the slush process. Blend for about 10 minutes or to desired consistency.
8. The lid must be on a nd th e ha ndle must be in upr ig ht p os iti on for unit to operate! While the unit is still on, place glass or a container under spigot and dispense the chosen drink by pushing the spigot up. It is re commended to have a towel under the spigot to protect against any drips. NOTE: the spigot has a locking upright position for filling m ult ip le drink glasses or a pitcher of dri nk s .
9. If spigot drips after dispensing, place glass or container under spigot and open and close the valve by pushing down and “snapping” the spigot once or twice quickly. Small ic e chips can som etimes get caught in the gasket pre v enting it from closing completely.
10. Turn off the unit when desired consistency is achieved and it will keep the Margarita mix cold.
11. ALWAYS DISPENSE WITH MARGARATOR RUNNING. Allow the unit to run for 8 seconds to mix before dispensing if unit has been sitting.
NOTE: WHEN LID IS REMOVED WHILE THE MACHINE IS RUNNING, THE MOTOR WILL STOP RUNNING UNTIL LID IS PROPERLY REPLACED.

TROUBLESHOOTING

CLEANING THE UNIT
1. U np lu g the unit from th e elec tr ic al outlet.
2. Dispense all remaining lliquid from the unit through the spigot.
3. Unlock top (See Illustration A) from base and rinse with clean water by pouring into tank and dispensing thoroughly through the spigot until clear. Wipe inside and out with a clean non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Dry with soft non-abrasive clean cloth.
4. Wipe the bottom base with a wet non-abrasive cloth and towel dry again using a soft clean non-abrasive cloth to avoid scratching the surface.

NOTE: To prolong the life of your STAINLESS STEEL MARGARATOR™, be sure to follow the cleaning instructions after every use and make sure the spout is flushed while washing the unit to prevent build up. Never use anything abrasive on the base to maintain the original f i nis h an d prevent sc ratc h es .
YOU MAY find a need to remove and clean the stainless grinding cage from the inside base of the tank (trapped citrus pulp, etc.) Refer to the directions below to accomplish this.

REMOVING AND SETTING THE STAINLESS GRINDING CAGE
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THIS THE STAINLESS STEEL GRINDING CAGE IS ASSEMBLED PROPERLY FOR YOUR UNIT TO WORK.
1. Inside the unit is a stainless steel grinding cage and round plastic collar to lock the grinding cage into
place**.
2. Place the stainless steel grinding cage with the smooth si de (opposite of the 3 tab side) into the plastic col lar and t wis t until the notc h of th e sta inless steel grinding cage locks into the protrusion on the plastic collar. (See illustration to the right).
3. Turn the assembled grinding cage (with plastic cover) over, so black plastic collar is on the top to insert into the base of ta nk.
4. Looking down into the interior of the tank, you will see 2 Stainless Steel screws. This is where the clips attached to the pla stic collar lock the grinding mechanism down. (Fig. E, Page 4)
5. When putting the collar into position, align the plastic collar with the tabs with the indented postpositions. With firm but gentle pressure, press the collar down until the tabs “click” into place.
6. Once everything is in place, make sure the clips are pushed inward toward the screws to lock the unit into position, (Fig. E, Page 4) and lift slightly to insure the cage is in fact locked into position properly and will not release.
**THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! IF THE COLLAR IS NOT LOCKED PROPERLY - THE UNIT WILL GRIND BUT WILL NO T DIS PE NS E . Loc k and unlock clip s carefully , to avoid breaking. Your STAINLESS STEEL MARGARATOR™ is now ready to fill with your favorite liquid and use again.

RECIPE IDEAS
Use your imagination to create many different drinks with your Stainless Steel Margarator™. We have provided a few recipes here, in addition to the Margarita recipe on page 4. You can adjust the ingredients to your particular taste, or create your own. Keep in mind, that if you have a recipe for a drink made for ‘1’ – your Margarator™ has the capacity for 16 – 8 oz. drinks – so adjust your recipes accordingly.
Basic Margarita
2 cups tequila
1.5 to 1.75 liter margarita mix
Add 3 lbs. of ice (to Max Fill line) then add all ingredients,
Strawberry Mango Margarita
1 1/2 cups tequila 2 cups margarita mix 3 cups mango juice (carton in juice section of store) *16 oz fresh strawberries (cut / quartered) Salt rim of glasses (if desired) Add 3 lbs. of ice (to Max Fill line) then add all ingredients,
*Strawberry margarita mix, or frozen strawberries can be substituted for fresh strawberries.
Strawberry Margarita
1 cups tequila 1 liter margarita mix *16 oz strawbe r ri es Salt rim of glasses (if desired) Add 3 lbs. of ice (to Max Fill line) then add all ingredients.
Rum Slush
1 cups Light Rum (depending on taste) 1 – 12 oz can frozen lime juice (thawed) 1 – 12 oz can frozen lemon juice (thawed) 2 – 12 oz cans of your favorite citrus soda Add 3 lbs. of ice (to Max Fill line) then add all ingredients
Banana Daiquiri
1 1/2 cups Light Rum (depending on taste) 1 1/2 cup triple sec 3 - 4 bananas (cut approx. 1 inch size) 1 – 12 oz can frozen lime juice (thawed) cup sugar 1 – 12 oz can citrus soda (of your choice) Optional: cherries – top each glass with a cherry Add 3 lbs. of ice (to Max Fill line) then add all ingredients.
