Grinding

The machine is of the reciprocating table type with
the work passing back and forth under the grinding
wheel. Table reciprocation is by hydraulic power with
infinite speed rates available to a maximum of 50 feet
per minute. An auxiliary means of traversing the table
by hand is also provided.

High Speed Grinding Attachment
HIGH SPEED GRINDING ATTACHMENT

The high speed grinding attachment consists of
bearing spindle carried by a
to the front of the spindle housing, and is driven from the
regular spindle by a flat belt. Changing from regular sur
face grinding to use of the high speed attachment requires
only a few minutes. Various quills are available for use
with this attachment, No. 1143 being furnished unless other
wise specified. A 1" x 1" x Ys" wheel can be mounted on
each quill. Spindle speed for this attachment is 13,000 RPM.
