Important Information There is a gap between your gate frame and handle. This is not a defect. The gap on your gate will close once it
is properly mounted. Please check the gate on a regular basis to ensure gate and parts are all in proper working order. If the gate is used at the bottom of the stairs, please place towards the front of the lowest stair. Ensure gate is attached between two clean structurally sound surfaces. Ensure appropriate hardware is used when mounting in solid materials such as wood or metal.
WARNING
Children have died or been seriously injured when gates are not securely installed. ALWAYS install and use gates as directed using all required parts.
STOP using when a child can climb over or dislodge the gate.
Install only with locking/latching mechanism securely engaged.
To prevent falls, never use at top of stairs.
NEVER use to keep child away from pool.
This product will not necessarily prevent all accidents.
NEVER leave child unattended.
• When child is present, ALWAYS keep the pet door in the locked position.
Periodically check all fasteners to be sure they are tight and secure, stop using gate if any
parts are missing or become damaged.

Step 3
Measure the width of the opening and determine number of extensions needed for the gate. Adding Extensions: remove upper and lower end caps on the gate frame.
NOTE: If it is diff icult to remove, use a flat head screwdriver to pry the end caps on the gate frame out. Connect the extension bar to both upper and lower extension connectors. Insert extension into gate
frame. Re-insert upper and lower caps into the extension connectors.

Attach gate stopper to the lower bar on the door frame. NOTE: Insert gate stopper so the arrow is facing up and stopper knobs slide down.
Insert the front latch (K) and the back latch (L) into the bottom of the pet door frame. Firmly connect them together to lock into place. NOTE: Insert latch so the release button is facing up.

Place tension knobs onto spindles, insert spindles into gate.
Align and secure with wall cups onto your wall with tape pads or screws. NOTE: Make sure the bottom of the gate frame remains completely at on the oor.

Tighten both top and bottom tension knobs inward towards the gate.
To ensure safe installation, continue to tighten tension knobs until the gap between the gate latch and the gate frame housing is eliminated.
