ProBatch™ workstation with 17” Monitor
Most producers would agree that a concrete automation system
is a significant investment, and discarding a working system is
not a financially viable option. But what if there was a way to
“upgrade” an existing batch computer by connecting a new
Windows® based computer to it and still have continued
capitalisation of the previous investment? The
ProBatch™
G9Series™
is such an option. By circumventing proprietary
computer hardware, the
G9Series™
“taps” into the existing
automation system and transforms an “old” batching unit into a
state of the art Windows® system. In short, the
ProBatch™
G9Series™
system is an innovative and low cost effective way
to move up to Windows® today.
A
ProBatch™ G9Series™
system includes a
ProBatch™
workstation, 17” Monitor,
batchWare™
software, and two scale
indicators. We use the existing manual control panel as well as
the “ box on the wall “ that many other systems use. The old
computer is removed and the
ProBatch™ G9Series™
workstation is
connected. The transformed system can
now utilise the enhanced functionality of
batchWare™
(our Windows® based
batching software). Depending on the
system that is being assimilated, this
transformation provides a wide range of
possibilities. If you were an Eagle™ MP
user, Eagle™Plus user or anywhere in
between, it means instant expanded
functionality and connectivity. Imagine no
more limits on customer or mix designs and having the ability to
store batch recordations on the system. To learn more about

Hardware Compatibility
There are many systems that can be upgraded using

G9Series
™. If you do not see your batch computer

Hardware Considerations
Even though a
G9Series™
system is a state of the art
Windows® “ upgrade “, it cannot surpass the number
of controlled materials allowed by the automation
hardware of the original system. This limitation can be
overcome at a later date by adding a
P1Series™
or
IntelliSeries™
system control control panel, thus
completing an entire
ProBatch™
unit. Since the
installation of the
G9Series™
batching system does
not permanently alter the converted batch computer (in
most cases), it can be restored to its original condition
to be sold or installed on another plant
Software Compatibility
Every system in the
ProBatch™
family, including the
G9Series™ P1Series™
and
IntelliSeries™
uses
batchWare™
which is our Windows® based batching
software. With
batchWare™
, choosing the right
automation system is simply a matter of matching
hardware functionality to the needs of the plant.
Serviceability
The
G9Series™
system has been engineered with
ease of service in mind should the system require
it. Every effort has been made to ensure that our
service technicians can diagnose the problem fast.
WorkStation
All
ProBatch™
systems use the same custom built
computer workstation. By taking the steps to ensure
this level of standardisation, our service technicians
can focus on you and not on finding out what kind of
equipment you have before they can help. Each
workstation is built from the highest quality
components available on the market. Most of you will
recognise names like Intel®, 3Com®, Seagate® and
Microsoft® just to name a few. Specifications for the
